Aww I felt for the little one who got second place, you could tell he was putting on a brave face trying not to cry. Chin up little man, you've got so far to grow still!
Seeing Nile encouraging and training the young ones is so heart warming. You can see his passion for the sport being transferred to the kids. It's amazing to see him happy in the coach role.
Awe you just want to give the young ones a hug when they look that sad. It hurts to lose, I was the same way as a kid. Shows you want it so much! Great coaching, Nile. The kids will remember that forever.
Nile, the obstacles you came through with the injury, the mental health and then recovering, now look at you man. You’re an absolutely amazing teacher to the these young’uns and I’m so impressed with how composed you were with them whilst also being inspirational to them. Keep it going 💜
This is the best and so nostalgic. The kid who came in second for the handstand hold had awesome form!! Very impressive to top 3 minutes - we used to do 3 sets of 2 minutes and my brain was literally rewired by the perseverance that required. Forever grateful for this sport that made me who I am today.
Future superstars! Well done boys. Watching this bought back memories of my boy doing gymnastics when he was younger. He’s 22 now but still remembers the fun he had back then xx
So impressive what those young lads are doing and it’s so right what Nile says about the strength of mindset. The way they did a handstand then walked back so were facing the wall!!
I can't like this video enough, gymnastics is what brought me to your channel and it's what I love to see the most. I will never forget the young girl who did the unbelievable amount of one leg squats on beam, I''ve often wondered what happened to her and if she's still doing gymnastics.
I think one of the most important lessons I've ever learned in my entire life is its okay to lose. It's okay to come second, third, or 5 millionth. What's not okay is giving into that frustration and disappointment and letting it beat you. Instead say 'you know what it's okay I didnt win that, but I'm going to keep working hard at the things I enjoy because I enjoy them'.
You definitely have the right attributes to be an incredible coach, if it’s something you wanted to pursue. I really hope you continue to pass on your knowledge, drive, and passion because the way you were encouraging those guys with positive reinforcement was so nice to watch✨
Nile the way You are with the kids is Amazing to see. One day You will be an Amazing Dad. I see Future World Class Gymnasts in this group of young boys. Your Truly an inspiration. Love You Loads. ❤️❤️🤗🤗
It was so cute seeing the way Nile was with the boys!! It was amazing how well and how long they where in it..... I can barely hold a handstand against a wall for about 30 second lol. Love from the U.S
What an amazing bunch of kids! Imagine the joy of actually getting coached by Nile! I'd be in the gym every day if I were them :D I hope they all go on to great things :D x
This brings back a memory of when I was a boy playing on a basketball team. As a gay boy in hiding but trying to fit in with the non-gay boys, I tried to do my best on the basketball court. At the end of the quarter, I was crying because I tried so hard to play well. The coach said nothing until my mother told him to acknowledge me for the effort. I remember feeling that his "Good game" lacked sincerity. Thank you Niles for exemplifying empathetic and empowering coaching skills. You're showing us how to be better stewards of each other.
I wish I could do gymnastics at your gym Neil you could probably help me with my round off backhand-spring back tuck but I’m in live in Williamsburg so I cant
Crying is okay when you lose. As long as you treat your teammates and other athletes with respect and kindness. Thats fine. It's the throwing a tantrum that some people do that I find sad.
I remember when I was a very lightweight,, I was able to do handstand one-arm push-ups and one arm on the high bar,,at Broadway gymnastics in Culver city California 👉💪🌙🤸♂️🧘♂️🕉 I remember seeing Princess Diana on time life magazine📰🥈
Karen🤣🤣🤣 These are the stars of the future and they are in good hands with Nile’s gym. He’s understands what it takes to win and the feeling that it brings, I’d let him coach my kids tomorrow if I lived there.

Watching Nile coach and talk to those young lads so calm and so supportive! Making me think I should start gym again after like 8 years
Love how you praised and encouraged all of the boys 🥰👍
Mate, you seem like a great coach. Wish I had a coach like that when I were a child. Learning them to go to the limit, great job👍

God, that reminds me of the age of 5, trying to out do the 7-9yr old 'team' & I won!!!! I'm 50 now but still remember that sweet achievement 🏆😤🏆😤🏆

Well done, boys! Nile, you've lost your mojo.
Amy went to my gym when I was little
Crying is okay when you lose. As long as you treat your teammates and other athletes with respect and kindness. Thats fine. It's the throwing a tantrum that some people do that I find sad.

I love the back shirts the boys are wearing .... do you sell them? My son does gymnastics in Holland and would love to wear one with pride!
