I have this controller in the Red Android varriant, and it works waaaay better than I thought it would. I like the full-size joysticks more than the Switch-styled ones. They feel more console-like. Also, you would have to put the phone on the right side to get the controller to work. I figured it is the only way it can work on the right side if you do that.
Nice! Sounds like you've got a solid setup for gaming. Enjoy your gaming sessions and thanks for watching!
Controller disconnects are like the real life equivalent of your card declining but you actually have money in your account. It always feels bad lol
Hahaha. 😂 Dude. You’re right. I’ve had that happen and it feels like everyone in the store is looking at you. Haha.
@BoKnowsGaming And I'm always showing them my account like "LOOK" but they never look 😭😭😭
😂😂😂
Your voice is super relaxing. Great video btw.
@@ZekeBarzahd Thanks for the encouraging comment! Much appreciated. Hope you'll stick around. 🙂 Happy gaming, friend!
I have some questions about this thing. How is the latency? Does it have only one mode? Most Bluetooth controllers, even the cheap ones have 2 modes or more, I'm not sure what the difference is are but I do know some games dont work with right with some modes
I don't remember having any latency issues. Just connectivity issues. It only has one mode. Let me know if you have any other questions. 🙂
I got one. There is less latency than my ipega 9083 I would like to see somebody test that. Also if you are having disconnecting issues it could be some power saving setting. You phone may be Turing it off I have not had that problem but new android versions like to disable background processes by default
That’s a good thought. But I’m using an iPhone, and I don’t have connection issues with any of my other Bluetooth devices. Thanks for the suggestion though! 🙂
Great video, was doing some research into this controller and this answered a lot of my questions, I’ll be giving this one a hard pass!
Thanks. Glad I could help!
I got this for my Samsung phone and samsung tablet. No issues out of the box but then the controller stopped working. I charged it and it worked. Guess you have to charge it when it shuts down? I never charged it out of the box so I guess it wasn't charged out of the box
Yeah, you can see at about 4:23 that the controller is charged. It just didn’t stay connected. 😢
Every new battery powered device I buy I charge it until full right away before I use it.
Literally just bought this! It’s still in the box. I should’ve never read the comments now I don’t want to open it😢
Yeah, my recommendation at the end of the video is not to buy it. By the end of the video I had already boxed it back up for return. Too many disconnect issues. I have videos on the MGX Pro and the Backbone One if you want to see my recommendations on those. Hopefully you can still return this one.
Can any tell me why the left controller is not working and not turning on while charging
I cannot. But mine kept randomly turning off and I returned it.
Nope just bought this for IPhone 15 pro max and in 15 mins disconnect 5 times or one controller disconnects and the other doesn’t. 100% returning to the Backbone I knew I should have gotten.
I don't know if you watched till the end, but that's exactly what I said. It disconnected constantly and I was going to return it. Thanks for watching!
Yea I was agreeing with you. Can’t recommend it to ppl. I’m also returning it.
@@resolutionone I see. I still think it’s the most unique. I like the idea behind the design. But if it doesn’t work it’s useless. Nice talking to you. 👍
does any one know if the android version can fit a amazon fire hd 10 ......6&quarter inch wide will it fit with minimal worry🤔🤔🤔🤔
If anyone else knows for sure, chime in, but I don't think this will fit any tablet sized device because of the two arms that come over the top to secure your phone. You might want to check out my review of the Nacon MG-X Pro controller, because it will fit Android devices up to 6.7 inches in width. czcams.com/video/JN1xOJb6R3k/video.htmlsi=Eq5gw9Neeswkur1R
Sorry to bother you i have a Amazon fire hd 10 it measures a little above 10 inches in landscape orientation with a little over 6 inches in from top to bottom when holding it in landscape orientation.... do you still have this controller it shouldn't be any different than android.. I was hoping someone could measure the maximum stretch pulling it without breaking or overwhelming it too far ...maybe it might fit🤔🤔?
No worries. The max width is 6.7 inches. 🙂
With this form factor, they missed a big opportunity to offer tablet support.
Yeah. That’s true.
So out of the box it had issues disconnecting. That sounds terrible.
Yep. It was awful.
Hey, can you play cod mobile with this controller?
On iOS you can. People in the comments have told me controller support isn’t available for Android. 🙂
Alright, thank you for your response
@@EOMPLAYS YW!
@@BoKnowsGaming hey can you play gta on iOS with the this Controller?
San Andreas, yes. The others I’m not sure about.
Can you not just use an Xbox or ps5 controller?
On iOS you can. It works well. But then you have to go through the pairing process when you switch back to your console, and then again when you switch back to your phone. And mobile controllers like these give you a way to hold your phone at the same time as opposed to propping it up on a table or something. But if you have a spare Xbox, Ps, or Switch controller laying around you could use one of those too. 🙂
hey can you play gta on iOS with the this Controller?
I know GTA: San Andreas does. Not sure about the others.
@@BoKnowsGaming thanks
YW!
So i can play cod or pubg on this no
As long as your phone’s version of the games has controller support, then yes. 👍 Check your app store’s listing or the game settings.
On the Android version you can play neither, it´s also near impossible to update the firmware using the official app.
I just bought this product to test it out, DON'T Buy It, it sucks.
That was my conclusion at the end of the video. I boxed it back up after an hour and returned it.
Buy yourself an android Instead iphone your playing games like Candy crush your wasting your money
I've never played Candy Crush. I do play a lot of games on my iPhone though. Modern games, emulated old school games, and remote play on my Playstation and Xbox. It's a good time.
