What a lovely presentation of the contender cows. The Jersey is my favorite ( I like the smaller breeds). I could understand why there might be barriers around the cows/ livestock in order to prevent random contact with the public, so they may relax a bit Thanks for the upload😊

Shakira is a serious cow but she’s just too big!! No farmer milkings everyday in free stalls wants cows that big!!they need to be average size, they produce the same amount of milk and are way less hassle!!

Looking at the pics of the classes on Facebook, I think the quality was not at its absolute best this year in Toronto, World dairy expo looked superior!!
I milk in a tie stall and I would take 100 shakiras. I like them big and strong.
@@HaydenM37 but what percentage of the cows around the world are milked in tie stalls at most not even 1 percent..outside America and Canada less again!! we see here the first cows to go down or get stuck in cubicles those big awkward ones!!
@@MrDonfrans yea for free stalls the small cows are better, for my tie stall I like to breed the big fancy ones, it’s what suits your operation
