Price Tag was present on that Mini Durga which is a paltry price of only INR 6000/ whe ras inside the Kumartuli the same idol is being sold no less than INR 10K. We wished him good luck & let his only left over Maa durga Thakur be sold positively. We roam round the lanes & bylanes of Kumartuli, it is now semi desrted. More or less some 80-85% Durga Pratimas are been delivered. mainly due to inauguration of Community Pujas in Kolkata which begins almost after the Mahalaya Tithee. Thus since last a Decade Intangible Cultural living Heritage Festival turned it into for 10 days Festivals for the City dwellers of Kolkata. Big budged Community Pujas compelled to do so because Sponsors demand so. As a result the main arterial roads are jam packed with huge Flexi Banners & Hoardings blocking the Road Traffic's view greatly. Adding misery to this over loading of massive Banners/Hoardings Traffic signals hardly could be traced. Accident may take place any time. In one word City of Kolkata is now wrapped under the Banners & Hoardings giving birth to Visual Pollution. Is it desirable !! No, not all, for the sake of Donation Big Community Puja Organisors shut their eyes and turned to a deaf ear. Lightings can be tolerable but any other form of choking the Traffic flow is awesome and dreaded for the tortoise like movement of of all 4 wheelers of the City. Amidst such rukcus traffic scenario flocks of visitors are on the Main Roads, Streets & lanes blurred City's Glory much.
