Great seeing AB sevens back on top of the world. Fiji's run is well and truly over. NZ haven't had such a strong squad with such depth across the board since the late 90's. They deserve all the glory and have worked hard over the years to get back to where they are now, not that they were too far behind Fiji during Fiji's dominant era. ABs are far and beyond the best in the world at the moment. Long may it last 🖤
I’d say NZ had great depth in the 2000s under Gordon Tietjens where they literally won every title for years
@@ablewilling2778 The depth right across the board in every position including the bench and non playing reserves was arguably better in the late 90's and even better now. This current squad is absolutely phenomenal.

Dominant display from the ABs but can’t help but think they get penalties for just looking at the ball in the rucks, ref was very quick to blow

There are some serious issues with the Blitzbok. They have fallen a long way from their glory years. Is 15 a side picking up too many of the class athletes in the mould of Cecil Afrika
this is why NZ rugby has resisted allowing picking overseas players for their ABs and the 7s etc. They know it will be like say Brazil in soccer where 100% of all their talent will go overseas and you never see them play in their national colors or even in front of their home crowd except 1-2 a year..
This just shows NZs depth.
They don’t have a coach. Time will come where they will not qualify to play at this level anymore! Sad but true! 😢

unfortunatly niel powel has left a big gab in the blitzbokkies cooaching they do not have a good enough replacement coach such as when paul true left the right replacement was there and allso they lost a couple of good players wich is the reason why they dropped down in a rather bizzarre position then what they are and should be good enough for but yes they would probebly get back in top position someday
