I watched this race yesterday live.. And in a nutshell... It could have gone either way and it was risky on inters as well as softs..... Basically jarno trusted Jeff's call and got f-ed.... So no fault of jarno he took one part of risk others took second..... It was 50-50 at all points

This game confuses me with the rain I had dry qualifying then pissing down rain for the race but wouldn’t let me start on wets so stayed on slicks for one lap then pitted and I was unbelievably slow so changed back to slick and was so much quicker even in the rain 🤯🤯🤯
Yep, the new game doesn't seem to have any correlation of grip levels with the rain visuals. Much worse than last year. Your best choice is to just always trust Jeff when he says slicks or inters are faster
Yeah if it even looks like raining I'm all over opponents' pit stops and spamming Jeff's recommendations every second lap, the visuals for rain are a complete bait.

It's good and realistic that Jeff can't predict the weather perfectly, but he could at least communicate it better. He could say how reliable the prediction is thought to be and notify when a previous prediction changes. That kind of stuff.

I love how most sports games change very little every year. But somehow jeff still manages to become more and more useless by the minute. Try asking him for vehicle information when your engine is dying on career mode. Jeff only spams you with tyre information.. absolutely useless.
First race I've seen on twitch live. What a yoke (referring to the weather disaster in this years game). I always get caught by weather in this game because you can't really tell when the time is to put inters on, I hope Codemasters fixes it.
I guess thats only an issue for multiplayer because in single player career and offline championship modes Jeff always tells you to switch to inters at the optimal time

That was bad luck, a 50/50 and you took the wrong way but if the rain have mantained like in the start or quickly stopped probably you will win the race. But good race that things happen nobody can predict the future, look at the spa race 😂😂
