The worst season of the show.
I watched the show in full and they hint that deathstroke is more than a little plussed with some added strength. Plus, I mean it's a show for their streaming service. EVERYONE is powered down so that they have enough budget to make it work. I mean Beast Boy has only turned into a tiger and a snake. Starfire is like a sun battery that shorts out FAST and she hasn't flown yet. The money is clearly not there... HOPEFULLY now that it's moving to HBOMax the audience will get bigger so they only will be better. They needed make deathstroke stronger to make him more of a threat. In the comics they have more room to show his cunning being the biggest reason for why he's so scary, not just his fighting abilities. They can't do that in 10 episodes when they're already crowding wayyyy too many characters in.
Wonder woman can take lighting because she's the daughter of Zeus while Donna is only a half-human and half amazons.. so maybe her human side is still there, thats why she still cant take lighting like wonder woman. But yeah, its horrible how they make her able to fight Superboy on par but got defeated like a normal girl againts Deathstroke cause i personally think she's almost as strong as Superboy

They killed the character this season. It got boring and crying. Not to mention that she DOES NOT wear the bracelets in the fight against Doctor Light, she was beaten by Slade and still died from a tower shock ...

Season 2 of titans really took a bad turn. It spent WAY too much time dealing with the team dynamics and past drama (which is what the first season is four) and then when everyone got off their asses when knew what they wanted to do the main antagonist got beat in like five seconds and brainwashing way too easily resolved. Then they threw in a retarded death (even IF Donna was that weak for whatever reason any of the other titans could have helped or the people could have run in NOT a straight line). I went into thinking that after gathering everyone and forging bonds in season one they’d fight as a team and we’d get some action, but nope. Instead it was Dick’s self loathing therapy session and everyone else blaming him for something that was clearly not his fault. If there’s still a season 3 hopefully they don’t make the same mistake and bring back Donna stronger than ever. I still miss Swamp Thing; the most solid plot, story, and characters of any live action (and I need more Abby and Alec/Swamp Thing in my life). And I really don’t want CW to ruin that like everything else. I would rather HBO Max have it and just continue what they were doing before canceling it for no reason. CW does Titans season 2 on a daily basis with their shows

Maybe Donnas power/s/level depends on an external factor and therefore isn't always the same, similar to Hulk or Starfire here in the series.

Yep! Deathstroke's thing was how cunning he was. He's an ASSASSIN not a TANK. It's true that he's probably skilled enough to fight Donna like in that seen, but no way he's strong enough to manhandle her like that. It would have been better if they fought for a while (maybe as a distraction) and then he just ghosted.

They did her so dirty. I know one of the major storylines was how all the team was off their game, but still. She was done so well in season one, what happened?? Plus, Donna is only "half" Amazon (at least in this point in her history) so the electricity could have really hurt her, but probably not killed her. I wish they had just said "coma" instead of dead, and she had to go to Themyscira to heal.
I think there was no more Themyscira in this show.

I get they are leading up to "Graduation Day" Arc.......and then she will probably become Troia. But, they really did make her too weak - use the Bracelets, Slade shouldn't have been able to beat her that easily. But, in the comics they treat her like crap too - she should be way more powerful. Wolfman and Perez treated her character better in late mid-late 80. Sad, they can really expand on the IP but refuse to write quality story lines. The Actress is great though.

I get that they wanted Deathstroke to look powerful and dangerous but Donna’s the equivalent of Wonder Woman and can stand toe to toe to Superboy who Deathstroke would only have been to hurt with Kryptonite. I like the fight scene between Donna Troy, and DeathStroke.
Such a waste. They should have never killed her off. She should have joined the Titans as Troia wearing her starlight silver and black costume and showing off her various magically-bestowed Amazon powers that are similar to Wonder Woman's and her various other supernatural powers that are unique, and individual to her. She would've been the most powerful and strongest female member of the Titans super-hero team. But I guess they can't have any of the main characters have their thunder stolen by an overpowered super-heroine who can outshine them all. If that happened, then the audience would only want to see Troia and not care about the other members of the Titans.

Actually in the comics only the new 52 version of Wonder Woman was a goddess (or demigod). For the rest of her history in comics she was an exceptionally powerful Amazon, who was created from clay. Yes, the story that the movie so callously dismissed was the actual origin of Wonder Woman way back in the golden age comics!
