- Few people know this, but did you know Bruce Lee has lost a confrontation before? The only man to have ever won a confrontation with him and outwit him was James Garner, star of the Rockford Files. He won without ever laying a finger on Bruce Lee, using his wits and brains. lol. See these two clips above to see how he won. They are friggin HILARIOUS! In the pilot of the Rockford files he told his dad to get him a roll of quarters. When William Smith did his karate stuff he had wet the floor and he slipped and he knocked him out with the roll of nickels his dad gave him complaining because the nickels were too small and caused him to hurt his hand. James Garner was smooth in every role he ever played.

There was this thing long ago that no longer exists called racism which kept him off the hit series, Kung Fu. He faced a lot of it in Hollywood and considering he had a family he kinda had to do what he had to do. So yes I suppose he needed the income.

Bruce Lee was actually defeated back in 1972 in Germany to a Tunisian guy who studied all of martial arts having trained in multiple countries and travel to japan by feet, he ended up creating his own martial art and named it zamaktel
