• Orca VS. Great White: ...
Footage of orcas killing white sharks is undeniably intriguing. Unfortunately, much of the information being spread in association with this footage is incorrect and misleading. By far and large the media outlets are responsible for most of the misinformation, but unfortunately, some of the information is coming from scientists.
For this introductory video I simply ask the viewer questions in preparation of the upcoming deep-dive videos.
Where was the footage filmed? Who filmed it? When? Which footage are we even talking about? Are the headlines accurate? Is the information in the articles accurate? Are the “studies” being published accurate?
Solo killer whale kills white shark seen for the first time.
Whale kills shark.
Rogue orcas are decimating shark populations.

Good questions. It's good to see someone not believing every article at face value and trying to dig a little deeper.
It's good to have viewers who appreciate more detailed looks into stories.

You sir are asking all the right questions. How many people know that this is an EXTREMELY rare occurrence in the wild? How many people know that the recent attack on a white shark was only an 8 foot juvenile (could be wrong on the size). How many people actually think that the orcas hunt white sharks to "protect humans"?. Looking forward to this series and what you have to say.
The rarity of the events I do talk about. The idea that they are doing it for people is perhaps more absurd that I am willing to spend time on, lol.
@@Whitesharkvideo Agreed, did a whole video on how whales and dolphins DON'T save people from sharks. That assumes sharks are evil in the first place
But would a fully grown white shark still stand a chance against an Orca? At the very least the size advantage would put the white shark at a significant and instant disadvantage.
An orca, not a lone orca anyway, probably wouldn't go after a fully grown adult female of 18-20ft and 4,000 to 5,000 pounds.
Looking forward to seeing more, and some great questions. Also some excellent video clips.
Hey Netto!! Thank you. Part two is now out. czcams.com/video/lBJV_2RhgFs/video.htmlsi=m3xovBre13IKcjwk

Fantastic
Part 2 is really good too
It will never cease to amaze me how these orcas know where a sharks liver is, theyll take that and leave the rest!!!
Yes, the way they use those teeth so precisely even though the teeth don't look that sharp...Anyway, part 2 is out czcams.com/video/lBJV_2RhgFs/video.htmlsi=m3xovBre13IKcjwk
@@Whitesharkvideo brill I'll watch that, thanks 😁👍
Is there any footage longer than a few seconds? To get a better idea of how the orcas predate on white sharks. It;s doing the rounds that orcas are to blame for white shark numbers declining, not human activity, yeah right
It’s all very brief, yet Alison Towner thought it was enough for her to write a paper on orca hunting techniques and white shark evasion techniques…using someone else’s footage no less
It's all very short. Some of the drone footage is said to show that the orcas followed the sharks, but the actual killing part is always short or incomplete. I added more footage in part 2. czcams.com/video/lBJV_2RhgFs/video.htmlsi=m3xovBre13IKcjwk
Pretty sure Hollywood has aleady a script
It's more often than we realize. Its nature. I don't believe its something new.
Humans should not intervene.
I like Orcas!!
