Impressed with increasing skills with the yarder. I had a similar operation going. But I found cutting the trees from bottom of mountain/hill, and working my way up, then winching them down to processing/cutting area was much easier then processing at the top. Saved time also. To each his own.
Side note. You may think mishaps are a pain ( excavator getting stuck), But I think it is entertaining for the viewers and reminds us you are a player like us. Cheers.
The other yarder is self powered - so it's just a matter of getting it where you need it.
It occurs to me you can place the yarder by the sawmill pond, and attach to a tree at the top of the mountain - would give free reign where the yarder is placed.
And finally, I was thinking - why take just 100l of ore in the wheel loader - since it has some ore in it, just load up the bucket for the run to the ore processor.
I like this plan!
Watching the trouble you had moving a stuck tree with the 360 excavator, I think the winch/blade would be a good addition. Could also be used on your tractor if the Unimog was fixed in place using the yarder (or vice-versa).
Here's how you would actually work in mountains (well, at least the Bavarian States Forests do it like that):
Variant 1:
1. A person cuts the tree down.
2. The branches get removed by the workers.
3. The tree gets cut down in length.
4. The tree gets transported via a yarder outside the forest.
Variant 2:
1. A person cuts the tree down.
2. The tree gets transported via a yarder outside the forest.
3. A harvester removes the branches and cuts it down in length.
Variant 1 is normally chosen but Variant 2 is done when the trees get removed because of things like the bark-beetle.

I think from watching another channel discussing the spray cans, that you can do other symbols including one which means “Do Not Cut”. Might be worth marking those trees that your yarder boom is cabled to in such a way, just in case you were to fell them by accident!
Must admit, although the big yarder would be nice, that small model is just the right size & fits perfectly on the Unimog.
The winch cable is not that long for what you want yo do. I would suggest saving for a bigger excavator. Also what i do is cut everything from spot so i have more room to move mabe not super real but it works and you could sort it back out down below for realism
You were saying earlier that having a spawn point inside the factory at the sawmill was a bit of a pain. I put one of those safety cones that were around the place on the spawn spot for the long planks and wood beams. They no longer spawn there. Just spawn in the barn outside. Great video. @@VirtualFarmer Mis-information. I guess the cones return if you close the game, and reload later. Like the street signs reset. I started the game again, and the cones were gone. Sorry about that. :(

Always enjoy your videos VF. Putting the blade winch on the Unimog is a great idea, but the cable length is relatively short. Far further ahead to get some description of a dedicated skidder.

To be honest mate I don't think the 360 would stay up the top in those conditions top heavy weight it would slip
Would you gain some time if you load onto the trailer as you go
Where did you buy the Claas vehicle? Can you attach a log grabber to it?
The wheel loader? It's a base game piece of equipment and yes it can have a log grabber attached (check out some of the other videos in this series where I use it with one of those to load up logs for transport)
