Love this, l was born in Lesotho a small country in Southern Africa and one of the countries that director Ryan Coogler visited in Africa to help inspire Wakanda. After nearly 50 yrs in Calif and a few in Europe l am now back in Africa and seeing how our continent is being shown and protrayed to world is amazing

cost rica isn't Mesoamerican nor is Belize, the Maya did carve out a piece for their empire but their influence is minimal. Although Moctezuma II went into exile in Costa Rica, their culture is almost entirely made of afro-carribean influence, this is most notable in the way they speak Spanish and English creole. The biggest influence of Mesoamerica besides Mexico is Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras, and Nicaragua. They're all countries extremely influenced by Mesoamerican culture and it's part of their national identity.

I was having goosebumps to hear the welcoming Tam tam,, to hear all those warm and smily people to shout "Wakanda ". Definitely, Wakanda forever is a deep, true and so needed representation of people of Africa. Ryan Coogler did an amazing and outstanding job. I wish Haiti was in a better place, where she could have had her own premiere for the movie as well. Haiti representation was so meaningful for many Haitians, especially those who are old enough to remember this beautiful and welcoming country where it felt so good to live. Haitian hospitality is legendary and it is so well portrayed in the movie. All the actors and Ryan Coogler speak volume about representation as not only they mention Mexico and Haiti but they took this step further to speak the native language of each of them. As Haitian born, I couldn't be more agreeably surprised and happy. This came at a time when Haitians really need to be reminded who they are. Thank you for that to the director and all the cast. Wakanda forever! Haiti cherie 🇭🇹 !😍👍👏🙏
