You are so right Claire, I've nearly lost 3.5 stone on SW & that's with having fibromyalgia so being in pain & tired makes it harder. I don't want to keep counting cals & I like to be full. If I counted cals I would eat crap. I always feel healthier on SW & helps with my fatty liver . Just had a nice bowl of SW carbonara and it was very filling . Hope you don't switch to cans or the 100 grams of protein diet ❤

Yes there always are going to be those who have a negative experience or it goes against what they feel is a healthy eating plan but at the end of the day there are hundreds of diets and eating plans so it’s finding what works and suits you !!! Your opinion and what works for you when it comes to your diet is what matters Cx

Exactly how I was Debbie and do you know my head just wasn’t in it I was never following 100% and just kind drifting which is why I decided to just take some time off until I was ready to give it a proper go again ! You aren’t alone in that honestly 😉 and I was good but I may have had a little nibble before chucking it to the seagulls to stop me scoffing it all 😂 and it’s like everything it was hardish to do but afterwards I felt glad knowing had and it was enough 🙌🏼

Great first week back!! I’m going to rejoin soon but have very expensive protein powders etc to use up first, know they won’t be SW friendly. Hope I have a loss as good as you first week back 🥳🤩
That’s fab might be worth looking them up I’ve seen plenty of people on slimming world using protein powders you just need to know the sun values to incorporate it 🙌🏼

Well done ob your loss. Im throughly enjoying slimming world at the miment but my physio therapist has told me low fat diets are really bad for the joints (i have a knee and back problems). This has thrown me now x
Oh I wouldn’t know about that 😬 something to look into I guess , maybe have a Google or speak to you physio about goods and supplements that are good for joints x
Well done....planning and meal prep for me is key as, well.... I never get the big losses as ever plod along at 1 - 2lbs. I have re checked portions sizes, never need to use, all my SYNS and I am lucky in that I am not a snacker... I am obviously just on a slow train. Yarmouth I know oh so well... The joy of Market Chips and I used to love the Pea Man in the Market. Snails and Tubs were a must in Joy land but heck did the Giant at Pleasure Beach scare me 😂 Hippidrone Circus a fantastic old building. My Auntie just found old Postcards of all attractions from 1950-60's and they had the Snails, Ventian Waterways and Elephants going across the Haven Bridge a real snap shot back in time. I weigh tomorrow so menu planning tonight and have just made Fridge and Pantry Soup with all odd Veg left from the week the mix looked odd but tastes devine and up here in Scotland a, warming bowl of soup well needed I don't think I have had a day lately without rain. Have a good weekend 🥰💜x

I wish SW had a different name for syns too lol 😂. I know you’ve said before but how much rice do you put in and how long in the slow cooker? We have tuna steaks in the freezer so may try that. Do you add a salad dressing? We’ve booked a holiday for October too so have a goal to work towards. We’re off to Spain at the end of October. I just hope the weather is ok 👍🏼. First time for me too Claire , no dressing on the Tuna Nicoise I just put a little chilli and ginger on the tuna steaks when cooking it’s full of flavours so don’t feel like it needs any more x you should have good weather in spain October I’d just take a jacket for the evenings x. Rice I usually use about 160/180 g depending how much comes out 😂 I think it was an hour or two in the slow cooker I’ve been using my pressure cooker so not done it that way for a while so I’d just keep an eye on it x

You need to try the Tina steaks 😋 works well with tinned Tuna but the steaks are one of our favourites I get them from Aldi and there are 4 on the pack they are frozen so handy just to have in the freezer 🙌🏼
May pay to speak to your consultant if you go to a slimming world group and maybe keep a food diary they can usually point you in the right direction from there x

You need to try the Tina steaks 😋 works well with tinned Tuna but the steaks are one of our favourites I get them from Aldi and there are 4 on the pack they are frozen so handy just to have in the freezer 🙌🏼
