Not sure if this is sarcasm, but I've done similar. Mostly because I also have a task in the same room. But I want to keep enough space between me and the other person, so they don't instakill me if they're imposter. If orange hadn't panicked and actually completed his task, black probably would have just started his task. White likely would have just killed orange at that point and framed black.
