Crystal, great blanket pattern. Thank you!! I make 10 X 18" mats with a simple border for the Humane Society to use in each carrier they send home when someone adopts a new cat or kitten as a soft padding. I use up a ton of old or recycled yarn in lots of colors for these and make sure they can be easily washed/dried. Thanks again!!! I was just thinking the same thing. It's a lovely stitch, and it's not complicated at all. I'll probably make my version a bit smaller. It's probably good for the yarn that gets called "scratchy". Now that I think of it, the animals that have had surgery will need soft yarn as well.

With all these beautiful baby tutorials I was wishing I had a new baby in the family. Then I find out a close family friend was expecting, then another family friend expecting twins and NOW..... another grand baby is expected in 6 months. (My oldest son and his wife) That is a total of 4 babies. Wishes do come true. Thank You Crystal for the awesome videos. I especially like this blanket.
