Plastic Hearts truly is a great album. Miley is an actual rocker with legitimate roots, and the music/her singing on that record absolutely kills it.

Dylan, loved the Room Tour video too. I just did my first video yesterday and it was a Vinyl Tag video. You are a big reason I made the video and I gave you several shout outs. Hey, Dillon. Love this contribution. You chose Tuco's ultimate vinyl scavenge video as did I! I believe he's from around Nebraska (as is the Omaha Introvert & Dereck Higgins). I used to beachcomb when I was little for driftwood. I'm sure psychoanalysts would have someone to say about us. 😂 Happy 2024!

Are you familiar with a band from the 70s called Hawkwind? I found SpiritRitual album at a thrift store. Lemmy plays bass on this.
I didn't know the story about Big Jim Sullivan's disappearance. Need to look into that one. I forgot about that Tuco video: probably one of my favourites too. He's gone pretty quiet since then. I guess he's been busy listening to all the amazing records he found. ☮️

I can't find outer sleeves that fit double albums. The widest I have found is 12.75". Can anyone recommend a product that can fit double albums or even thicker gatefold albums? TYIA
Hey did that copy of Frankenchrist come with the poster? I’ve had my copy for 32-33 years now (one of the first records I ever bought) but have only seen one with the poster in the last year. It’s my favorite DKs album, btw.

@@noblerecords that rules; Chris likely bought it new then but who knows? I saw one for $125 last year, but didn’t bite. Maybe for less, I would have. Either way, I would likely have to spend way more than the $4 I spent on my copy in 1991, even adjusted for inflation and all that stuff. 😂

Dylan: Are you familiar with a psych band called “31st of February”? I just found them via a friend, and they’re great (at least to me). I’m a child of the 80 so some of these bands are new to me. Any thoughts on this band? Never heard you mention them.

Best Jazz is from the 70's by some distance, you need to expand your 'ears'....................
Well it’s all opinion I guess, but the blue note and prestige titles from the late 50s are the greatest jazz albums of all time!
@@noblerecords Nonsense, Jazz was in its relative infancy then! There are some fine efforts from the 50's, even before, but it started getting more sophisticated, deeper towards the end of the 60's. As an example what outfit from the 50's played at the 'level' of Mujician in the 90s?
