YOURE BACK! Even if other OSTs were available online I always missed seeing you specifically upload them.
Glad to see ur still surviving these hoyomix purges 😂❤️
you don't know how happy i am that you found a way to make your music videos again !!!
I made a playlist yesterday of almost all the composers working on Genshin and came to some conclusions. Yijun Jiang: 123 songs; Qian Ding 75 songs; Dimeng Yuan 91 songs; Xin Zhao 83 songs; etc.
I think Dimeng Yuan is the best composer HoyoMiX currently have. Besides Yijun Jiang, I also very like Yuxi Wang's style and Arcangelo Chen. Xin Zhao is mid tbh but good at Stellar Moments.
The soundtrack quality and style, akin to those in the past with Yu-Peng Chen, remain consistent and good like it was.
However, there exists a faction dissatisfied with the OST compared to the era of YPC. This sentiment, I believe, stems from the absence of a "star" in HoyoMiX, like YPC was. For instance, Dimeng Yuan is currently the boss, but he doesn't produce as many soundtracks as YPC did, even though his technical level is almost as good. While YPC produced almost 40% of Sumeru's forest soundtrack, Dimeng has produced only 15% of Fontaine's even though he's the main leader now. He has always been a person who creates few songs.
In short, due to the increased number of composers and owing to Dimeng Yuan not being a person of making many songs, the melodies became fragmented into several distinct styles, and what these people miss is a more homogeneous style like they had before.
Welcome back Reina
