Brilliant writing, perfect casting, astute direction and perfect BGM !! Hats off to the director to keep this film just enough length and avoiding the stereotype emotional scenes..
At the end, movie becomes a character study and I guess audience doesn't care much about "who done it"..
Asghar Farhadi's, whom the director has mentioned in interviews, "about Elly" is of same premise.. similar structure with ensuing conversations after an event revealing the layers of characters.

Valare nannayt avatharipichu. Oru partisan political stand edukathe kadha nannayt parayan saadhichu without being insensitive. The interviewer has her bias and that is the reason why more movies like this are needed.

The interviewer has her own bias. She is asking him questions about the movie that we spectators had never thought of! How could one come to the conclusion that it is one heroine and 12 villain? Those are nothing but the diverse characters each individual has, and there is only one villain there. We can't generalize the characters should behave in one particular way, here the different perspectives of each people are clubbed up together. It also shows how facts could be manipulated, and this anchor shows how reviews could be manipulated too. Overall, this movie was a great piece of art. The director is speaking sense.

The men were not villains. They had not witnessed the crime or been given solid proofs for the same. They were all being human in their own little ways in being inquisitive about the mishap, holding on to their tiny greeds, keeping their desires to undergo some costs for incomparable benefits etc. The heroine is also very much an ordinary human being with her own odds and ends. The movie in essence shouldn’t have portrayed all men as villains in conclusion. When the right to portray is free in the hands of the writer, the right to extrapolate and justify the writing and characters is with us, the audience.
