Treviso (2024) is an medieval city in the Veneto Region, in the north of Italy. The city is located at the river Sile and fortified with a city wall and a castle. At the north site of the city walls there is a beautiful city gate: the Porta San Tomasso from 1518. Piazza dei Signori is the social hart of the town and there stands the town hall from the 13th century Palazzo dei Trecento, the San Francesco Church and the Palazzo della Prefettura. Treviso has 85,000 citizens and a small airport.

I stayed here for a couple of nights during my first trip to Italy. My original plan was to just use it as a place to stay while day tripping to Venice. I ended up spending more time in Treviso due to Venice being overcrowded, expensive, and overly "touristy." Walking around the historic center of Treviso Was truly one of the highlights of my trip. There were no crowds and it felt like I had the city to myself walking around and looking at the old buildings and churches. The food was also great and the locals were also very friendly. Next time I go over there. I will definitely be spending my last night in Treviso. The Venice airport is accessible using public transport, and accommodations are reasonable. Such an authentic place.

Treviso è “la piccola Venezia “ perché circondata ed attraversata da due fiumi , il Sile e il Cagnan. Ricca di storia ed arte , costruzioni dell’epoca romana , palazzi del 1500 e 1700 , chiese maestose . Città ricca di natura e molto pulita . Piena di bar (pub), pizzerie , osterie e caffè. La zona è ricca di prodotti alimentari e si può mangiare carne o pesce sempre freschi e bere vino speciale come prosecco e altri tipi . Un consiglio per chi visita Venezia ; dedicate un giorno a Treviso, ne vale la pena ! Grazie per il vostro video !!!
