I don't know if this song has shaken the nation, but yes it saved my life. I wanted to kill myself but I went to small church. They were singing this song in portuguese version. They were not good singers but The Glory of Lord was in that place and this has saved my life.

This song has legs that just don't ever quit.. time after time, no matter when i hear it and sing along, it levels me.. I cry tears of joy every time.. God, I love you so much! But not nearly as much as you love us.. So amazing.. just knowing He loves us so so very much, girds us up and helps us get thru anything! Because He's so near to us.. God is Omnipresent and as close as our skin, listening to this song sure shows that raw emotion. His Spirit is so real and moves in us and brings us into that place we can sit in His very presence.. no wonder we weep! God bless you and thank you for writing this beautiful song..

I like the Crowder version but this one feels more powerful but it is just my appreciation for music, the most important thing we must remember this is not about music or style it is worship JESUS CHRIST (GOD) must be the center of worship and life
John mark wrote it to begin with, should check out his testimony, utterly heart breaking but so so powerful
*IMO, this one doesn't even come close to the DCB version. The bridge doesn't seem very uplifting. There's no energy behind it. In DCB's bridge, it's pretty much the peak of the song. Very powerful.*
@@AzNightmare I think that is also just a blunder with the songwriting. The drums literally do not stop the entire song - so the energy is up the entire time, which makes the impact of the bridge less uplifting as you noted. Not as well written as the David Crowder version

Oh thats why! Now i know the story! This is my fave song of all time, in every season of my life. I remember when I was listening to this sonh when I got up 1 morning, and I remember how special my encounter of God at that moment. It gave me an unexplainable empowerment, and sense of identity. I was in tears the whole time. I got it on repeat. Even when I was already in a public transpo on my way to school (college), I was still crying that I just wore shades the whole time. Even in that vehicle I could sense His presence and His Love working in me.
