Sinus Anatomy Tips
The best way to describe your videos is like a table full of delicious but still healthy food. I click expecting fast food, a burger of sketches with a couple tips, and instead get a full meal with smart advice and excellent examples backed up by experience, all around very valuable. Yes I'm very hungry, sorry.
thats a spot on analogy
Michael Goman agreed
I haven't liked a comment in ages but I felt this was necessary
Reading this made me confused
Couldn't explain it better
At last I can draw noses now
Ahmed Aldoori so can I!
dude, you're faking
Bro you can draw everything
Akhmed!
AHMEEEED ❤️
"I've decided to pick the nose"
There is zero chance that wasn't intentional.
"and if it's snot.."
I love you, Sinix. :-D
I came looking for this comment when I heard that line.
It never was a coincidence.
oi oi don't forget sinix saying sinus instead
who needs drugs when you've got sinix's anatomy quick tips
true
Drug dealers
*sinus ;)
Imagine some guy opening your computer files and finding an entire page of noses.
Uhhh...
"Hey guys sinus here"😂😂
Everybody nose Sinus' videos are up to snuff.
We got a nose pun pro over here.
You mean "up to sniff." right?
Yes, they're infectious.
im actually disgusted.
thank you.
@@12inchesofworm26 bro why you so *stuff up*
I love how you paint the skin :0 It always looks interesting with lots of different colors. I look up to painting like this in the near future :D
Go for it
Did you make it?
@@Ricardo-fm5wt I'm a professional oil painter now, so yeah I made it
@@rima-chan It's great to know that! Do you have an Instagram account where we can follow your works or something like that?
@@Ricardo-fm5wt I open my website and instagram in three weeks, so I'll tell you then ;)
Something you didn't cover that is important to be aware of is the angle of which the bottom of the nose is tipped (roughly at a 15-25 degree angle). For practical purposes lets say the nose in profile/side view is shaped like a right triangle. the L shape of the right triangle is slightly tipped on its axis. Causing the bottom of the nose to be seen in the anterior/front view when the head is looking straight forward towards the viewer. I wanted to point this out because in my own studies I've seen a lot of artist's downplay this in order to simplify or to escape the complexity of the nose. It's also important to remember that the nose is convex and protrudes out from the face. Wire-frame/contour drawings will help greatly for anyone having trouble with this form. Please vote to raise awareness.
Can you do one on eyebrows or tongues? Both seem to lack a good guide that isn't stiff in technique or style
YESSSS
I concur!!!
true
yes pleaseeee
YES
Yesss
You don’t know how much I’ve improved after watching your videos.
Thank you so much for being the teacher I’ve never had
I sure love new videos from one of my favorite artists, sinus
Super concise and informative. I'm a k-12 art teacher so this really helps me to clarify some of these ideas in a clear, concise way to my students! 🌿🌿
The 5 dislikes are Davy Jones ,Voldermort , red skull, spoopy skeleton meme and that one guy with a weird obsession with voldermorts nose
Decided to pick the nose for this one 😂
Wow! 😅😂
It's crazy drawing along to your tutorials then looking around the real world and seeing how amazingly you subtly stylize your simplifications. You're like a make the world look cool filter haha. I don't go to Patreon often but I've watched hundreds of tutorials and yours are especially good. Thanks Sinix
It would be great if you did one of these but for drawing an entire figure
This guy deserves so many more subs, the talent and effort that’s gone into making these videos and drawings is so rare
Thank you sinus... who nose, maybe it snot obvious from the comments but your puns are on the nose. I thought the diagonal ridge I observe on the side of the nose was some sort of muscle indication like the muscles we use to make an expression of disgust. Now I'm poking around my nose, and feel that it might actually be the bridge. I'll have to pay more attention, luckily I have two life drawing sessions today where I can do so.
😂
videos like these has made it so much more easier for people to learn art, without actually having to go to art school. thanks alot sinix
What if someone new watches this and thinks that your name is pronounced sinus for a good amount of time
No One welllllll...
I love your profile pic
wait, so it's not sinus???
First video here... I thought that was how he pronounced it...
Guilty!

i love your anatomy quick tips so much! they're so well thought out and fleshed out with so many tips and examples, it's amazing! thank you so much
I have been struggling to draw noses lately, and you made a tutorial just in time. Thank you!!
I really appreciate the video! I've been needing one of these and they're extremely useful! I just wanted to point out in the 'common mistakes' section, my nostrils are actually lower like it is shown on the top left. It may not be standard, but it's not wrong! Thank you again for the video, though! Can't wait for your next one!
Thank you Sinix, every time I visit your channel I learn something and get better at art. Even when you haven't posted a new video I watch an old one and I always catch things I missed or have forgotten.
The advice on using angles before curves when learning anatomy is great!! I'll be sure to do that from now on
Your anatomy vids are the best! It's still currently our sem break and I somehow got an idea to transform myself through drawing, all this vids had a huge impact on me!!
I clicked on this video a few days ago when I was finally determined and inspired enough to actually learn how to draw and I can't express my gratitude enough. I'm really really thankful for your videos and this series. I don't know if it's just quarantine that's made my head clear up but I've tried learning anatomy before and it never really worked out. I followed through with your video and the information about the structure really helps. You can actually see the difference between how I used to draw a few days ago and now. Like a very big difference. I guess I already knew how to draw (I also used to draw anime, they look pretty awful though lol, but I know how to handle a pencil, the amount of pressure to put and such) just didn't know how the face was supposed to look. The skull thing also helped alot. My faces look drastically better and drawing them is easier. In your hands vid when you just kinda drew the hands like so without any guidelines it got me thinking "why don't I just do that too" and like shabam it's the best hand I've ever drawn my entire life. It feels like you unravelled this knot in my head lol. You've really taught me to know and learn the structure of things and how they're supposed to look, rather than copying from references. Thank you so so so much, I'm really grateful. I've never had this much fun drawing before, Its the first time I felt this want to learn and improve. Just thank you so so much from the bottom of my heart T^T
Excellent video and indeed my new favourite for drawing inspiration, thanks for making a light-hearted but very functional video, Sinix
Thank you so much Sinix! I watched this video again for the first time in a while and in one sitting just following along, I finally am able to draw faces that seem right for me! I realize now that the nose is probably the most important part in drawing faces. You're the best!
Watching this video is like an instant get better pill for artists that know how to draw but still isn't quite there yet.
you are a hero. The shading and coloring is my fav part, it always blows me away. Great tut!
Super helpful, you went over a lot of things i couldn’t really wrap my head around before with other nose tutorials.
I really love your anatomy videos, and even though I usually draw in a fairly stylized way, you always manage to make notes about how the features work that give me something to ponder and improve on. Thank you so much for this series!
Thank you so much for making all these anatomy videos! They've been seriously helpful for improving my drawing skills😃

Thank you I really needed help! Best tutorial I've seen
We watched so many parts and learned a lot so a video about how to put them together would be awesome (like combining nose mouth ears nose eyes to a full face one.)

His voice is so nice i'mma just lower the volume and use this as asmr to sleep and hope I wake up and draw perfect noses.
