Watching this whether you’re getting a tummy tuck or a BBL you have to wear your Faja and your phones for a year wear them. It’s a pain in the butt they’re hot and they suck but if you want that snatched look, make sure you wear your Faja make sure you’re getting your massages. And yes, get massages all the time when you’re constantly getting massages after a tummy tuck you get more snatched in and more snatched in and more snatched it I know girls who have had tummy tucks 10 years ago and they’re still getting massages so please make sure you do your researchand if you’re wondering if I have a Plastic Surgery information page yes I do
Happy New Year Kala!! Awesome to have met you through HYP over on FB. Glad you're not in any pain from this procedure. Never done one of these before but I imagine there are so many daily motions that would impact that area.
I am at my week and a half now and I am here watching your video just to see recommendations for like a waste brace because I go back to work tomorrow I have two kids I’m a small person just that I didn’t like my appearance of my stomach and yes pulling out at you was very weird
@@shawnteemarie1217 my youngest is 3 so it wasn’t too bad. I had to have my husband help with things like bathing her and getting her in and out of the car. I also had multiple other procedures too so recovery is taking longer than I had hoped. Your doctor will probably say to not lift more that 5 pounds the first few week then no more than 10 pounds till you are 8 weeks post op. Since you have such young children definitely make sure you have some help because you won’t be able to carry them. Good luck!!!
Im so scared i could have ruined my muscle repair from coughing ive prob coughed 10 times total but everytime it feels like im ripping something n im so scared ive ruined my results im nearly 2 weeks post op now
I had 2 drains. When the first one came out it wasn’t painful just felt weird and uncomfortable. At 2 weeks post op I got the 2nd one removed and that one did hurt. Idk if it was because it was in longer
Thank you for your honesty. I am on day 6. When will I be able to cough or sneeze without feeling like I am gonna cry? Is week 2 or three huge improvement s
I just got my tape removed today and drains I was told to shower and use Anti-bacteria soap and cover … what do you suggest I use to cover the Incision ? I thought about Sterile pads ?
Hi i am two weeks post up and i hate the way my scar is looking , i saw on the video you didnt have anything on it? Are you not using anything for the scar?
Ahhhh, yeah that can last up to 2 years. But there’s ways to help it not be so bad. Compression is one way. Or just not moving so much. I didn’t sit down at all after so I was always and still am always swollen
Hello! I love your videos! So helpful. My surgery us in Oct. 12th. One question, would you recommend an elevated toilet seat with handles? I have a walker and recliner, just wondering on the toilet seat? Thanks!
I am day 3 post op and didn’t need an elevated toilet seat but ours is kind of high already. I did have to get a catheter though because the anesthesia made my bladder go to sleep and I couldn’t pee before i left the surgery center. Apparently it is pretty common.
hey Kala Hottenstine!! first of all you look awesome with dark hair-like a new person!! :) second of all love the progress with the scar! hope to see more videos of updates. you had your surgery couple weeks sooner then me )) i just reach one week post op today! feel free to check them out ;) P.S. where are you located if it's not a secret?
I’m 2 weeks and my swelling is very bad throng with me I had a drain less tummy tuck so u could only imagine how bad I look I wanted to know if u feel ur muscle and tightness
Because it can break your stitches and ruin your entire surgery, especially if you had muscle repair done which i did. Also it’s extremely painful for the first few weeks.
Eek. I feel like that would be hard for me to not do bc I’m always go go go. How’d you manage not to use yours? Also, you have little kids, how did you deal with that? I have a 3 year old and 2 year old and have a little anxiety over how that’s gonna be post op. Like, how soon were you able to tend to them and stuff?
Also, thank you for your fast reply! Wow! Haha I’m watching all these videos trying to figure out if I’ll do it or not. Kinda scared, not gonna lie, but I think mostly worried about my kids being tended to I suppose
Zaida Fedko my husband was home with me on leave for about 2 weeks, so he helped a lot. Also having a walker helps for standing and walking. You literally can’t use ur core even if you try to, like it just won’t happen. Then there’s the being hunched over. The walker helps sooooo much tho but it gets better
Hi! I paid $12,000! It covered literally everything, all the appts before and after for like 2 years I think of post op appts. The surgery itself, anesthesia, all of it!
@@alicialee7785 that you have to ask the dr about. some drs do them free some dont. mine i want to say does do them and decides to charge based on the specific situation. if its just you being unrealistically picky i imagine they'd charge, but if its absolutely necessary they dont. just depends on the dr though they all do things differently

literally everything, you never realize it until you cant use it
@@KalaInTheKingdom I feel you. Pulled a ligament in my bicep in Dec. Not nearly as painful as your but damn do I forget how often it is used.
I feel like that would probably be worse since you need arms!

I have my surgery next month and these videos are so helpful. My biggest concern is recovery because I have small children.
me too-how did it go
@@shawnteeharrid it went pretty well. I’m two weeks post op now!

I didn’t use anything for it no
Hi I'm looking at getting a tummy tuck but really scared of the recovery
It’s honestly not that bad, the first couple days kinda suck but once you get across that it’s smooth sailing
I'm scared more of the swelling n bloating that's occurs. It's strange I'm not got any concerns or worries about the surgery its self x
Ahhhh, yeah that can last up to 2 years. But there’s ways to help it not be so bad. Compression is one way. Or just not moving so much. I didn’t sit down at all after so I was always and still am always swollen
🎆😄🎆 HAPPY NEW YEAR my Friend!!!! 🎆😄🎆

Where did you go for your surgery? They did a really good job.
Dr mark jabor in el paso! Hes awesome I love him!
How long still you can stand up straight I have 3 kids and need to get to mommy mode
Honestly it was probably close to 3/4 months before I was back to normal standing

I started with an xl cuz I was crazy swollen and got down to a small before I stopped wearing it

How did you deal with your child or children?

Foam boards
For compression? I use the lipo boards on and off just depends on how swollen I am
