Twilight Masquerade is the Newest Pokemon Card Release and is expected to hit store shelves on May 24, 2024. This set is loaded with some of the most amazing Illustration Rare Pokemon Cards we have ever seen in a Pokemon Card Set. However, despite the amazing artworks, Twilight Masquerade Pull Rates continue to decline in the Scarlet and Violet Generation.
Beginning with Temporal Forces, Pokemon Card Pull Rates seemed to change. No longer were you basically guaranteed a Hyper Rare or Special Illustration Rare Pokemon Card in your Booster Box. Instead, it seems that roughly half of the Pokemon Card Booster Boxes that are opened contain neither a Hyper Rare or Special Illustration Rare. These poor pull rates make it extremely difficult to obtain a Twilight Masquerade Master Set and make it much more advantageous for a Pokemon Card Collector to focus on singles rather than opening up sealed Pokemon product.

My favorite kind of videos. That box with the 11 hits, oy! Hard to imagine the Dragapult will continue at that $27 price point. The overall average value will drop, maybe dramatically.

In my one booster box, I got 1 SIR, 3 AR IR, 2 Ace Spec, 1 Trainer FA, 2 EX FA, and 6 double rares for a total of 15 pulls

Rarely get to finish a set because the budget is too tight and there are just too many sets. Long for the days of 4 per year. this is easily my favorite set from the scarlet and violet era, its DLC oriented with a ton of art rares that are shimmering masterpieces
definitely gonna open some packs for the fun of it and then buy singles for any missing
There are some hits for sure. I think you’re right it is highlighting Kitikami which is by far my favorite part of scarvi. I am happy we’re getting shrouded fable though. I think it’s gonna take that and turn it up.

I opened a case and got 2 SIR, the Perrin and Teal Mask Ogerpon. I got 1 box without a single full art and maybe $30 in presale prices worth of hits, it was brutal, but I also got the eevee and a bunch of other cards I was chasing so I was happy overall. Interesting pull rates though, reminds me SWSH

I pulled 2 Fire OgrePon SR from 1 case :D but only 1 DragoPult EX from 6 boxes and 2 boxes had only one ACE Spec other had 2. So in average less than 2 per box.

Man… I guess I’ve been on a heater lately!!! 2 temporal forces BB and 1 etb netted me 2 sirs and I opened 1 twilight mask BB last night and pulled the Lana! Guess I’ll be thankful! 🙏 these pull rates are brutal!!

I didn't make a business out of it but when I opened 151 I would take what bulk and extras I had and put them in the 151 binders from those boxes and sell them. I probably sold 10 or 11 in total. It doesn't make you money but it helps recoup and helps with the dollar cost average

The pc etb seems sold out, feels as tho it would be a good idea to keep the case sealed with how much these are going for. Sometimes I’ll open up one but going to try to resist with twilight. (Pulled the illustration rare mew in my one Paldean fates box I opened. )

Hey Danny, not sure if anyone has brought it to your attention yet but the real mask price for the first box is “$27” and then in the third box is “$7”. I think your expected value for the first box is meant to only be $122 not $142.
I had a feeling that the Eevee IR was going to be the top illustration of the set, it's definitely one of my chase cards! O unfortunately didn't pull it out of my first booster box, but I did pull the Hearth Flame Ogrepon EX Sir. I'd trade you!🤣
So far, 71 packs in and I have pulled Pinsir, Probopass, Sunflora, Cramorant, Eevee and Infernape (2X), while also getting Hearthflame SIR, Greninja, Wellspring and Sinistcha FA, and Caretaker and Lana FA. Not too bad. Unfair Stamp too.

Opened 2 booster bundles today cause for some reason Target was stocked early and got 1 basic EX from those 12 packs. I hope I was just unlucky but if this is the norm then I highly suggest buying singles.
Booster bundles feel awful. I don’t recommend ever buying them. Extreme low ball rolls for luck.
Some insight that might be worth looking into; does it seems like, in general, if you get an SIR now, you get two IR? So in general, (3 IR) or (1 SIR and 2 IR)?
In my one booster box, I pulled Hearthflame SIR as well as getting Infernape, Sunflora and Probopass IR. That’s just one box but that’s my experience thus far.

That profit page also doesn't factor in the taxes on the backend after selling and the percent cut taken out for selling on platforms like TCGPlayer and eBay. That is only assuming you are private selling which is probably unrealistic to sell at these prices before the prices fall. Just my assessment.

Not the first time it happened? Paldea evolved is also mostly about the IRs, esp the magikarp.
The Ursaluna and Greninja will be the priciest cards but the Ogerpon arts are underwhelming. The IRs are just so gorgeous. Best batch they’ve released imo.
