@@joshuangerng2119 It's called localization. But the purpose of localization is to preserve puns/wordplay/meaning, such as changing Ritua to Gishki to preserve the wordplay of the archetype. Localization is NOT supposed to change what the text actually says. Avram is the worst localization in YGO.

That last card is both the worst effect the Mekk knights continuous cards have and also the sackiest way to win games, as your opponent demonstrated. It is incredibly underwhelming compared to secrets or even key, but it enables the aforementioned BS
@@cynnik1337 and secrets is monster negation (best of the 3 types) and called of the haunted on top. Key is also a plus 1 (albeit a slow 1) that works amazing with world legacy chalice. Secrets is a single stack boost for one turn, and not even affects link monsters.
When your LP went down to 100 with Kaijus in hand, I had the biggest shit eating grin on my face, because I just KNEW that face down would be a battle trap. Great editing.
I tried making a world legacy deck once before... Let's just say that I don't know how to build decks that involve more than one archetype, maybe two. And damn that lore is big.

My favorite part of the Mekk-Knight lore is when Dogoran the Mad Flame Kaiju decided to help the Mekk-Knights out in the war against the LP Gain Mill tribe and Dogoran was given a power boost by the Whisper which ultimately helped him win the hard-fought battle

@@KamenNepper Probably because it was a lot of text related to lore that the TCG playerbase never gets and likely wouldn't care about. Like I believe Master Duel is the first time TCG players officially got the lore for some of these archetypes
Didn't they fight the Krawlers in the World Armor? I thought they fought the Mekk-knights on their base with the Spear and Shield. The effects correlate.

It’s such a good (albeit heart-wrenching) story. Honestly don’t know why they didn’t do the same for the main Master Guide story. They just did one stand-alone chapter for the Gem Knights, and one for the Qli.

I’ve found decent success with a Mekk-Knight/Krawler Deck, and 9 times out of 10, the Krawler part of the Deck saves me from first turns like this guy’s. The pain is tangible

Yup, been keeping it pure since day 1. When Master Duel dropped, I tried running the Invoked engine, worked fine for me, sometimes I need to negate stuff from the hands or GY

I mean its also spell effect negation which is better than Keys trap negation. Its only worse than key cause its a trap card you need to set.

The mekk knights first appeared when they captured Ib at the World armor, immediately after the battle with the krawlers. That guy knows his stuff
