Yes, an award long overdue!! So much vitality and humor in a 93-year old. Showed some of his wide acting range in the fantastic characters of Big Trouble in Little China.

He's awesome. No matter the role, he gets your attention. For my entire life I've enjoy watching him in every film of his that I've seen and it's a joy sharing my enthusiasm for James with my son who also is a big fan.

Especially his refusal to kiss the star/ground. He gave it his best, but there’s a reason shoes aren’t worn indoors in many cultures, that star’s probably filthy in his perception. Both, that it’s on the ground, and the industry that backed its existence in the first place is somewhat filthy as well.

Very nice for him. I been seeing this guy from time-to-time in film since the 1970's and was surprised he didn't already have a star years ago already. I have now seen 9 of his films, seen him in 6 TV shows, and up to another 14 TV shows I watched since the 70's. I never went out to my way to follow him in film, as with the majority of actors, but to see him that many times for so long just goes to show you how prolific his career has been.
Anyone who 'hasn't' seen this guy in at least one film, I can only say they must've been living on another planet. Congratulations Mr. Hong! This guy sure doesn't seem like he's 94. He's a living legend so enjoy his presence while you can.

P.S. It’s also pretty “racist” (though there’s only one human race, but definitely varying ethnicities... anywho.), being a fan of comedy, I appreciate the humor. That said, the man is a legend of cinema and deserves a higher calibre joke than a dick-joke about his lack of prowess in countries that control everything. Yet, he’s successful here and you would shame his genitalia for having the balls to come to America and make a name for himself, and finally celebrating his success at his age.
