I’m a hardcore swingman jersey collector. Love the fact that Nba swingman jerseys are not hyped so you can get them on the cheap. I’m own over 300 swingman jerseys. My favorites are late 90’s early 2000’s because of the holy mesh material with the sewn numbers and logo. I don’t mind if they look worn. I do mind if they are stained or ripped.
Tropic Thunder except now the numbers and letters are heat pressed instead of stitched. Quality has been going downhill for years

So I've got that Jersey the Mitchell Ness 9798 Michael Jordan all-star jersey but all of my emblems are in gold
Gold NBA logos signified the 50th anniversary of the NBA and those jerseys are from 1996-97

Yours must’ve been a correction then by Mitchell & Ness because I purchased their first issue which is obviously incorrect on their part. I point that out briefly at 5:40-6:00.
Those Mitchell and Ness jerseys are OK at best but can never compare to the quality and durability of Champion stitched jerseys from back then. Not to mention Mitchell and Ness gives their jerseys and automatic $200 up charge, when Champion Authentic stitched jerseys were $150 back in the day. I personally think $350 for this jersey is way overpriced, but it is what it is.
It is but Champion isn’t making jerseys like this anymore so what can you do? Either cop it, cop the older Champions, or pass altogether.

Nike did not take over the whole NBA in 97-98. Champion still manufactured Authentic jerseys for teams like the Clippers, Bucks, Magic, Sixers etc. Nike made a few teams like the Lakers, Pistons, Bulls, Heat, etc. Starter made Knicks, Rockets etc.

You should go by chest size. It’s a 48” so whatever you typically wear in shirts is what you should rock with here. Length should be good at your height.

Hey brotha great video. Quick question, does the gold Jersey feel a little lighter in weight compared to like the away jersey? I have the gold Jersey and away jersey but the gold one feels a little lighter to me.
Gold is about an ounce lighter than a typical away Jordan jersey after weighing about 14oz vs 15oz for the away. Both are same sz 48 XL

MJO23DAN hey man awesome video. Quick question, when it comes to sizing are champion jerseys and Mitchell and Ness the same?
Sizing is about the same between the two brands but the newer Nike stuff is a size off. So if you wear an XL, that’s a 52 in Nike vs a 48 in Champion or M&N.

They released these a few months ago also minus the Jordan one. I got a pippen one.
Those were Swingman versions. A couple you can still find on MN’s site they are going for half the price.

Hey Marvin, Champion did still make NBA pro cut jerseys for NBA teams in 97-98, but only for selected teams as they didn’t have the ‘exclusivity’ anymore. They did from 90-91 to 96-97. Brands like Puma, Starter and Nike came in. Nike for example produced jerseys for the Bulls, Lakers, Heat etc, while Champion kept making them for the Sixers, Nets etc.

If you’re asking about fit, the sizing is by chest size so in Mitchell & Ness, you’ll most likely want to stay true to size.
