Hey I am recovering my Akai Touch after not using her for over 3 years...WOW... Did I miss her...Learning the Touch config again is challenging. She is my DIAMOND in the ruff. I truly appreciate finding this video. Learnt some stuff that I didn't know before. NICE!!!!
Bro I was looking for mpc gear and when it said controller my old mpc element popped in my head and I avoided it . I didn’t know it worked like an actual mpc because I hated the software on my element. I have a mpc live 2 that I’m happy with but if I knew the touch was like a standalone I would’ve got it .
For anyone that has a Touch, yes! MPC Stems can be used for it! Make sure all of your drivers are updated and dl the 2:14 upgrade to receive Stems. Yesterday, it took a while to get it to be able to activate after buying it. The only thing I don't like about it is that it takes a long time to progress the separation of your sample. 7 mins compared to a few secs with the Live/2. Unplug the usb when progressing and it's a little faster.
This people " the sample kings"are very thorough and all their videos on ALL mpc 's are Clear, anyone having issues with basic hardware should begin by using" software app only" and then pick up a controller....I personally prefer my mpc touch to the mpc live, being a studio piece I don't "forget "to switch to controller mode and be frustrated with the common mistakes we all know.Use that time to make your own samples on days of production fog , I use an sp 808 and 505 and make those samples into expansions with free expansion builder... Never buy other people stuff and avoid copyright claims.. Also you have to install the software correctly and play with screen mirroring and expanders if a separate monitor is used...The trick....Read,read,read...
HELP!!! Anyone know why the lights on the mpc touch blink when I turn it on? does that mean it is broken? does the software need to be updated? how do I fix this? ty!
Is a video driver issue. If you are on Mac-MPC TOUCH 2024 Update Final: The issue seems to be on the video driver side of the house for MAC users only. Will leave post up in case someone needs historical help later. Once i test and rule out which one works I’ll post results. Are you on a Mac? Zoom out so each monitor shows its own image. That should fix it.
