Linnet's Covers I was there that day and dude it was so fuckin cosy. They did it because the actual concert (OM&M, CTE and Volumes) got cancelled as well as the rest of the Full Circle Tour, so I guess they felt bad for us and decided to do a little acoustic sesh with those of us who stuck around the venue. I was suppose to be meeting OM&M that day, I had VIP and it would have been my 3rd time seeing them (and second time meeting Austin and Tino) and I had JUST gotten to the venue after a 3 hour drive when I found out it was cancelled because of Austin being hospitalized. I was seriously so sad and worried that I nearly cried in front of all the other fans there hah. But this made the drive totally worth it, they were absolutely amazing, and they met all of us after the set and oh my God they were sOO sweet. Especially Dave, holy shit he's amazing. This is too long woops haha but no yeah it was totally fuckin cosy and I loved that I didn't have to fight for my life in mosh pits and could just sit there and sing. It was so lovely. c:
SWIFTBRATZ Damn didn't know about Austin being hospitalized. Do you know if it was anything serious? Yeah, very nice of CTE to do this! I've been following them since they released Breaking Point and I'm so proud of them for making it this big and still being just as loyal to their fans as they were back then! :D
Linnet's Covers Yeah it was pretty serious. He had to have about 3 surgeries, had one of his ribs or parts of it taken out, and had something to do with his Marfans Syndrome condition but I'm not totally sure. He was in the hospital for a little over two weeks, now he's on bed rest and has about 4-6 weeks of physical therapy until he can get back to doing shows. They had been touring for over a year straight and I guess it just really took a toll on Austin and the others, they were all so exhausted. They're literally that dedicated to the of Mice Family that they all drove themselves to that point of exhaustion, its crazy. Austin's a lot better now, just waiting for them to reschedule so I can finally meet all them and tell Austin how grateful I am that he's okay and all that cheesy shit hah. Dude they were amazing. Like, Volumes left without even meeting fans once it was cancelled, literally didn't get shit from them. But CTE were just the sweetest dudes I have literally ever met, I even went up to Dave after I already got selfies with him and Andy and Brandon and just asked for a hug and said "thank you so much for this so that we didn't leave disappointed, you guys are amazing" and he smiled so big and hugged me sO fuckin tight and said "It was so problem! thank you so much!" I could have melted in his arms hah. Yah they're dedicated as fuck I love it so much.
It was so cute, Andy looked at Dave and smiled and like notioned him to sing and he just smiled and started singing :) I could tell he felt left out... I miss Dave :(
