  • Hello everyone, In this video, we will be going over the soursop (Guanabana) tree, flowers, and fruit.
    Guanabana is a fruit that is highly sought after for its pried health benefits and tropical taste. This fruit tree is very beneficial for you as you can consume the leaves and fruits to cure various health problems.
    Soursop or Guanabana taste very tropical, to me, it is like eating a mango and pineapple mixed with its own tropical flavor kick.
    This fruit has been used for many years to cure many illnesses and if consumed on a daily basis you will feel amazing.
    In Colombian Guanabana is very cheap, you can find huge ones for under 2$ USD.
    Guanabana will grow in Florida, it is recommended to grow it below Orlando as anywhere north can get pretty cold. Guanabana will drop their leaves once temperatures reach below the 50s.
    The Flowers of the soursop tree are very attractive, they look like tents but inside they have a pretty bud surrounded by thick walls of guanabana flower shells.

    Hi, my tree has flowers (with ants), but they keep drying out and getting black. I don't think they will turn into fruits. Any advice?

    • @DungNguyen-ru5kg
      @DungNguyen-ru5kg Před 2 lety +1

      My tree is the same, I tried to hand pollinate but I didn't do it right. From other video, they said use the pollen from male fully mature flower and rub it in the female flower when it not yet open up at where we would see the sticky white in the center. I don;t have two flower at near stages, so I will collect pollen from one and wait few days for the other flower to come to female stage.
