@@LazyDogFarm the seed pack says 100 days to maturity but i try to stretch to 105-110. Just have to play by ear. I started my crosses a little late and probably a good thing. We’ve had a total of 17.25 inches of rain since May 25. We started with a nine inch deficit in rain and now we have a 8 inch surplus. The metro area of San Antonio keeps a tight rein on the acquirer levels so it’s typically the lead on evening news. I have my handy dandy rain gauges set up around my yard because believe it or not it will rain in my front yard and never a drop in the back and side gardens. Tumeric can get 3.5-4ft tall when conditions are just right. The leaves will get quit large and tropical looking. However, more unsettled weather on its way ! Did you get heavy rain which pushed the Okra over ? Bummer on your cover crop ! I was gone this weekend (Fri-Sun) for an annual meeting with former members of the California Cadet Corps and their families. The event is held at Camp Winthers at Soda Springs, CA. While there my son and I hiked to the local 6869 foot peak where my son took some photos. Folks come from as far away as DC, southern Cal, and other distance locations. Anyhow, I didn't get to go back to look at any recent videos from the weekend. Just wondering how you are doing and if we'll be getting an update soon - I may have just missed it. Hopefully, I'll get caught up and can watch any videos I missed.

@@LazyDogFarm I had to sleep on an army cot. That didn't help with my recovery from my Jan 16 bike wreck. Had to have an emergency appt with chiropractor at 7am this morning. At least he opens at 6am. The hike to 6869 actually seemed to have helped my split tendon on my right foot by stretching it - being careful not to tear it more by wearing a brace. Take care of yourself.

We pick blueberries from February to August... we have about 30 plants, early, mid, late... and we get blueberries for a long time. They just started really producing in the past couple of years.... this year we probably got almost 100 lbs... it's a lot of blueberries. I kept planting them cause we weren't getting many blueberries, and now it's a problem... hint, you don't need 30 blueberries, because when they finally go... they go. 5 plants will do ya! Everybody we know has all the blueberries they know what to do with, and we still have extra. Next year I'm gonna invite some people to pick their own. :)
