37403 in the Highlands on the BWC Two Tour: 10/03/24

  • SRPS Diesel Group's Class 37, 37403 making plenty of noise whilst working Branch Line Society's BWC Two tour on the 10th of March 2024. The was the second day of the tour operating from Fort William to Mallaig then down to Wemyss Bay before heading back into Glasgow and finishing in Bo'ness. The video follows the train throughout the day at a variety of locations which can be found below:
    1. Along the water at Corpach (0:08)
    2. Passing through Locheilside station (1:10)
    3. Climbing away from Glenfinnan (1:49)
    4. Working hard up Beasdale Bank (2:55)
    5. Climbing into Morar station (3:54)
    6. Mallaig with the Isle of Skye in the background (5:11)
    7. Kinloid climbing up to Arisaig (5:57)
    8. Glenfinnan Viaduct after a short pause in some strong winds (6:34)
    9. On the power between Roy Bridge & Tulloch (8:04)
    10. County March (8:57)
    11. Fillan Viaduct approaching Crianlarich (9:45)
    12. Glen Falloch (10:14)
    13. Ardlui Station (10:33)
    14. Arrochar & Tarbet with rain falling (11:17)
    15. Accelerating through Dumbarton East station (12:14)
    16. At the buffers at Wemyss Bay Station (12:57)
    17. On the final leg passing Croy after departing Gartshore Loop (13:23)

    How was the 37 released from Wemyss Bay? ... Time for a 40 railtour including Largs, turning the stock at the triangle at Kilwinning...!

      66776 came from Mossend and took the train to Glasgow.
      The 31st March the ScotRail Push Pull set is visiting Gourock, Wemyss Bay, Ardrossan and Largs with 47712 so a least a tour gets to cover that part
