Pritty sure they have head gasket failure on the short header size I’m pritty sure I heard putting equal length headers on helps prevent that. Damage doesn’t look too bad . Pretty sure parts are pricey tho
Looks like it has rear ended a pick up van/truck (or something similar with a rear over hang) to me and the damage on the bumper looks like it is from a tow hitch.

Wrx has ej255 engine 255 meaning 2.5l Wrx (not factory forged) Wrx sti had ej257 7 meaning STI engine which is alot stronger than Wrx. As you already know 5 speed are weaker boxes than the 6 speed.
Damage doesn't look too bad. Solid project!

Yeah man! Looks like it’s not structural too 👌🏻 get them chassis legs checked and measure them but looks golden 👌🏻

08-14 sti/11-14 wrx will bolt right up. You need fenders and bumper.
The side skirts don’t look like they will bud
