Great project, so creative, and such high quality workmanship
Well, how lovely is that! I quite like it I do!
Cute project and so cool work shop.
So beautiful and unique!
Top job - fair play for having an idea and giving it a go, and for overcoming all of the annoying parts that can so easily bring a project to a stop! - It's a beautiful thing and you've learned some great skills along the way! Really enjoyed that, thank you, and very well done!
Thank you so much! Honestly the skills I gained through the trial and error was one of the most rewarding parts 😊
Wow. I absolutely love this idea and will definitely be making one. I'm new to watercolour painting, but love using tools and accessories that are also quirky and beautiful functional art. It inspires more creativity, thanks for sharing.
Beautiful project❣️
Daisy, you've made me want to get wood carving tools and a dremel now 🙈The palette looks beautiful 😍
Well done on your first try…very well done…next time you decide to make one try using a white resin for the mixing well…it will made seeing the color much better…again great 1st try…use it well 👏👏👏👏👏
Amazing
I was so interested in the entire process and excited that you tried something new to share with us. Amazing job. Sending hugs from a chilly and very wet and rainy California xx

I started my wooden palette last week, carved from a large cherry tree branch, using hand tools. I used a hatchet to rough out the halves, planed the pieces as close to flat as I could with a hand plane, gouged the wells out with hand gouges, sanded with sand paper the best I could possibly do. I sprayed white enamel paint into the wells after taping the pieces to only paint the wells. I'm waiting for my magnets to show up. I might have to make those stabilizer ams to support the halves. How do you like painting with your handmade palette?
The tool may be a scroll saw rather than a band saw.
Fun to see you take over your dads unused space❣️
