It was a blessing to hear the crowd yelling “BIONIC AAAAAARM” during Top 6 this year at EVO. Never thought we’d ever see Mahvel on the big stage again but we did and it was beautiful. More than beautiful than I could have ever imagined.
The best part is seeing the Bionic Fucking Commando make absolute hash out of the so-called "top tier".
At the time a lot of people genuinely thought spencer was better than Zero

I've played enough MVC3 online these days that I genuinely wonder how anyone thought that. As I've said elsewhere, if someone tells you they're good at MVC3 and that Zero is one of their mains, one of those statements is a lie.
iYorKeY I have to disagree. while he's certainly nowhere near Zero, Spencer can do 1.6 mil damage without x factor and only 1 bar lol. in ultimate he got a lotta buffs e.g being able to hyper cancel his grapple xx reel in punch, which is where ALOT of damage comes from in Ultimate. I'd say Spencer did pretty good

I’m very late but Galileo during EVO 2015 had such a fucking amazing run the entire tournament. Man lost to Dogura, got sent to losers side bracket, won his way to Grand Finals, played every single possible match and won the entire tourney. Can’t find the exact stream of the tourney run but the commentators I watched were amazing. You can check out Maximillian Dood’s Top 5 EVO moments of 2015 for Galileo’s run.

I don't remember who it was, but a commentator at one of these tournaments once described Marn as being "the only underdog that you root against", and that line really stuck with me.

This was BEFORE the buffs given to Spencer. In this game he was mid-tier which meant that while he had Bionic arm, what made it powerful was Combofiend's execution.

No matter how many times I watch this match, I keep on getting hyped almost to the point of me dropping some teas of excitement.
