    Way to go for highlighting the adapter connectors. So many people just cut into the car wiring which is really bad as then you ruin the stock harness. Interested upgraders please take note of this.

    Hello Italjohn, thank you very much for this video. I recently bought this used Toyota model and was very lost about how to reach the radio behind the panels. It also saved me the frustration of not having prepared the right tools to get of the deep inside screws and starting all over another day. Now I have a new radio up and running :)

    Flott video! 😄
    Har et spørsmål før jeg prøver meg på installasjon. Den røde ledninga til antenne adapteret, anntar at denne er for strøm? Er denne kritisk å kople til? Anntar at selve radioen får strøm frå di andre kontaktene? Må man kjøpe inn noen form for kopling som denne ledninga koples på?

    • @Italjohn
      @Italjohn  Před 4 měsíci +1

      Ja den røde ledningen må ha strøm, hvis ikke vil ikke antennesplitter virke. Den røde kobles til den blå (blå/hvit) som vanligvis er merket med "remote". Du trenger en rund "han" kabelsko på den røde ledningen.

    So thankful for this video. I'm planning to replace my radio so i'll come back to this video in a couple of months once i have time to change it, but I have yet to find a radio that I like. My dash is a bit different at the bottom where you have the gear box and you have buttons there, i don't have them, but I guess all corollas have a similar dashboards so I should be fine right? I hope you're still active on here so if I have any questions you could help. Hei! Gammel video men jeg tar sjansen på å få et svar uansett. Jeg har akkurat samme bil, og ønsker å installere en ny radio i den. Det eneste jeg trenger er bluetooth. Jeg er helt blank på dette, men har prøvd å lese meg opp. Men det jeg ikke klarer å forstå er hvorfor alle andre videoer jeg har sjekket ut inkluderer en form for lodding av kablene man plugger inn? Men det trengte du ikke her? Kan du forklare dette på en enkel måte er du grei?
