Discover European Cities: Montpellier, France

This is the second episode of "Discover European Cities" short documentary program that aims to cover unpopular cities in Europe in a short video clip. This program shows quickly main areas in each city visited with popular monuments in the city. Also, Dicover European Cities program will cover each city by less than a 5 minutes video.
This video is made by an iPhone 6S without any extra filming accessories. The primary objective is to show how can one do a 4K short film without any expensive filming equipments. The second objective is to present the main attractions of this beautiful city to the world.
Montpellier is a city in southern France. It is the capital of the Languedoc-Roussillon region, as well as the Hérault department. Montpellier is the 8th largest city of France, and is also the fastest growing city in the country over the past 25 years. Nearly one third of the population is students from 3 universities and 3 higher education institutions that are outside the university framework in the city.Located on the south coast of France on the Mediterranean Sea, it is the third-largest French city on the Mediterranean coast after Marseille and Nice.
Montpellier est la huitième commune de France par sa population et la troisième ville française de l'axe méditerranéen (après Marseille et Nice). Elle est l'une des rares villes de plus de 100 000 habitants dont la population a augmenté de façon ininterrompue depuis 1945. Elle a plus que triplé sur cette période pour atteindre 272 084 habitants au 1er janvier 2013, ce qui en fait la commune la plus peuplée du département de l'Hérault et la deuxième plus peuplée de la région Languedoc-Roussillon-Midi-Pyrénées après Toulouse. L'unité urbaine de Montpellier compte 414 047 habitants, la métropole compte 434 101 habitants en 2012 et l'aire urbaine 579 401 habitants en 2013, soit la 14e de France par sa population.
