*Why do you hate things? Have FUN!*
Breakdown said to
You got it ! I’m here 😂 having fun! We do fun metal things !
So I can turn it into rage
i’m trying
You can't tell me what to do, you are not my real father.
This album is a fkn masterpiece
nice nitheful pfp
It’s pretty fucking epic.
Literally one of the best albums I've ever heard. I read the lyrics while listening the other day and it blew my mind.
You don’t talk enough about Boundaries.
Fax
They’re in your top five bands top five
📠
what about sunami? they go hard asf
Agreed 100%
Matt Honeycutt's vocals make me happy.
He's one of my favorite vocalists out there. If I can just get either a Bryan Garris feature on a Kublai Khan song or a Matt feature on a Knocked Loose song I think I could die happy.
@Shy_Hulud awesome idea but I like my teeth where they are and I still have flash back of a 5 foot nothing woman cracking me in the jaw last time I saw Kublai khan.
@scottperkins5038 she sounds like wife material
IIRC, the band wanted Frankie Palmeri to feature but charged too much for them so they went with Matt instead
OWH MAAH GAAWD DAAAYAM
This album has some of the hardest callouts I’ve ever fucking heard
“I fucking hate you” 50 seconds into the first track really set the tone of the album haha
@@therestingmitchface6241 I expected this album to be meh until that "I fucking hate you"... After that I already knew this album was going to be an AOTY contender
@@mangopie7602You expected this album to be “meh”? You are new to Boundaries aren’t you? 😂
@@8JFJK8 I missed out on their 2022 album and their earlier works didn't hit me so I'm glad that I got to revisit boundaries
@@8JFJK8 That's what I said man. BOUNDARIES DONT EVA MISS BABY.
Boundaries blowing up makes me one very happy dude
Boundries and Foreign Hands have been my go to recently
Foreign Hands is criminally underrated.
@@EnliveningPA could not agree more with that statement
Yes foreign hands is really good, reminds me of early 2000’s metalcore like poison the well
Orthodox band too, so many watered down core band nowadays.
Dude, I went to the Roman Candle, Foreign Hands, Boundaries, and Dying Wish show back in December 😎 shit was killer
We need a pissed core tour with Boundaries,Knocked Loose,Thrown,Alpha Wolf,Ten 56
I’d pick Knocked Loose, Bodysnatcher, Thrown, Alpha Wolf, Boundaries, Pintglass and No Face No Case!
And spite
don't forget stray from the path and shaped by fate
a big tour with those plus Pincer+, SPLEEN, Graphic Nature, and Apate. Gonna be the worst day ever physically, but also the best day of my life
And Paleface Swiss
I’m a new Boundarties listener so I had zero expectations for this album. They absolutely crushed it. AOTY contender for sure. That synth breakdown in Blame’s Burden is my fav part of the album
Same. The album art made me want to check out this album. I've listened to it almost everyday since.
Check out other and enjoy the brutality.
Definitely check out Your Receding Warmth. Their best work
We are getting so much good oldschool core music now. From Boundaries to Seeyouspacecowboy and Dying wish. Im absolutely lovin it. 🤘
Yes thankfully there are finally bands putting the core in metalcore and deathcore again. The genres are finally fun again and actually enjoyable.
So glad there’s a deathcore revival, metalcore revival, and hardcore/beatdown like kublai kahn and heavy hitter is getting more and more popular
We have actual metalcore and actual deathcore again
2000s core is back huger then ever now. I'm all for it.
As someone who's fav albums include ones made by August Burns Red, Texas in July, Dying Wish, Misery Signals, and Knocked Loose, this album is literally perfect for me
Misery Signals... dude totally forgot those guys!!!! Thank you for this comment. Workout playlist is about to get updated.
fucking PREACH
I haven’t related to a comment more in my life
@@rhamer03 we simply have excellent taste
Respect for the Mis Sigs callout bro
I'm watching Boundaries together with Bodysnacher and Spite tonight in Stockholm, going to the gig for Boundaries. If I die in the pit I certainly had a good time
Man, I saw SPITE a few years back with Kingdom of Giants, Bad Omens, and Born Of Osiris and I went into mosh retirement years ago due to skate injuries but when SPITE opened with I.E.D. I went straight in the pit like I hadn't missed a day.
It Never left, Nik
Seeyouspacecowboy had the MySpace core going for a while now. So good.
New album slays
new album lives in my head rent free
i aggressively twerked to this song
My AOTY pick for sure, this album will be remembered years from now.
The fact that he hasn’t reacted to the new Alpha Wolf album is criminal
This needs to happen. Dope ass album
I'm with you Nik, inject 578, 0's and 1's and Dissonance in my veins. I love that shit.
This album fucks so hard! Peak metalcore…
This year has been amazing so far with many cool bands releasing amazing music
Boundaries getting flower they deserved after four in the row metalcore album of the years for me. Check out orthodox too for "core" in that metalcore.
Finally a reaction to Boundaries 😁 let's get in Paleface Swiss next!
Im not someone who listens to entire albums often, but this is one of those albums where every song is so fckn hard and catchy i can just play the entire thing.
Album of the year so far, it's going to be hard to top this one when every song could be a single with a music video.
Blame's Burden, Inhale The Grief and Scars On A Soul are my favs
We need more bands to give us those glorious MySpace vibes
I'm beyond happy that they're starting to get the recognition they deserve. They have never missed
Foreign Hands and Greyhaven. Do it.
Finally , Boundaries are getting some recognition! My dudes released three AOTY albums back to back that went unnoticed.
"Yeah" I felt the same
Reminds me of earlier Varials but uptempo
Some of that had a Norma Jean vibe to it.
Well Nik, you’re giving me yet another band that’ll probably wind up in heavy rotation for me. You are literally responsible for 3 of my favorite (newer) bands Lorna Shore, Darko US, and Knocked Loose. I found them all through your videos and I listen to those everyday. Thanks for all you do for Metal
This is like if As I lay Dying "Frail worlds collapse""had a baby with Hatebreed "Rise of Brutality
With some Bless The Martyr album sprinkled in
Definitely some “Jane Doe” Converge too
I immediately heard old school As I lay Dying in this
lol, the harmonies gave me "as I lay dying - Shadows are Security" vibes.
Happy you covered this. This album needs more eyes on it.
The ride bell "Bing!" in the 1st song 1st break down! Made me so happy lol
2step, breakdowns...acacia strain/emmure vibes love it.
Takes me back to doin kung fu in the pit. *360 roundhouse* 👊
Emmure? lol what.
@@fim1344 so you have no issue with acacia strain but emmure is a problem. Even tho they have a similar style even a feud. Makes sense.
@@pandarage21 no issues with either band. Love Emmure. Just don’t see how they’re similar to boundaries at all
@@fim1344 listen
@@fim1344 ok
I feel like i was so late on Knocked Loose, Kublai Khan etc... but im happy i have them in my life now. These Boundaries guys sound superb Thanks for all you do Nik, you definitely helped shape my musical landscape ❤ love ya
Album been on repeat since it dropped it goes so hard. I can’t help but groove out in the car 😂 headrest be catching mad elbows
I swear this album is a shoutout to everything metalcore of the last 30 years
This album is repeat ever since it came out… the first time I listened to it, I sat in my room,
with my mouth open cause I was blown away. They absolutely smashed it. Every fucking song kicks ass
finally some boundaries love. album of the year(for now)
And to think I might not have heard this excellent band had I not subscribed (and I guessed to whoever told Nik to listen). Many thanks for that.
Most of this album reminds me of For the Fallen Dreams album that has emerald blue and bombay on it! Sick as hell!
Man I bought a Kaonashi vinyl and the record label sent me a free copy of My Body In Bloom. I had no idea what I was in for
These boys loved some Misery Signals. I fux wit it
Boundaries deserve their flowers for this album.
It’s superb.
never tapped into boundaries before this album and now their my current favorite band
Right back to the 2000s
My new workout jam. Neighbors gonna love this blasting out the garage on the daily. HOA fines here I come 💀
Among my fave albums of 2024 so far.
The month isn't even over yet and we got masterpieces from Boundaries and Eidola. Also it doesn't translate so well here, but my god the transitions between songs on this record are seamless.
Giving real It Dies Today, specifically Caitiff Choir, with the riffs and the cleans vocals.
YES YES YES YES
That's the best and purest metalcore album of all time and this album reeks of it in a beautiful way
I’ve seen boundaries nine times already and I never get sick of em 🤷🏻
Its like It Dies Today, Parkway Drive, and Bullet For My Valentine had a baby. I love it
was waiting for Boundaries to make it on the channel. Was hoping for Easily Erased being the song though.
YES bring back the MySpace core please. Best core era. So much good music.
Every album by Boundaries is a work of art.
The callouts and breakdowns are unreal but Matt writes some absolute poetry
Smacks so hard and refreshing. Also a fantastic band live if no one has seen them
1:47???? Damn I was on a journey!!!! Def need more of that
My Body is a cage. Is one of my favorites from them.
YES thank you for checking out some of these tracks! album is nothing but bangers
I should listen to more stuff like that, it sounds exactly right
This album makes us from Connecticut very happy. CTHC & metal is killing it!
This is my new workout band. Thanks for introducing me to them
funny mentioning bmth at 1:44, from the start it reminded me of RE: They Have No Reflections from their first EP. instantly added this song to my playlist lol
Nik I love you dude. You're music makes me so happy. Don't change your the fkn man
Can't express how underrated this band is
Miss this... brings back memories of college when I got into this kind of music and would workout to it. (was a little late to party, was busy in Nu Metal late highschool (gd 2010))
This album’s been on repeat for ages at this point, i found my aoty
Favorite band right now
DIdnt really know who Boundaries were before this album but WOW, they killed it!
Bringing me back to Amarna Reign and either Death Of An Era, A Feast for Kings, and/or Those Who Fear.
“MySpace-core” is such a funny thing.
Imo, it’s gotta sound pissed as fuck but most importantly the audio quality needs to be kinda “bad”.
This is not a new take but the reason most new deathcore sounds subdued is because it’s compressed as hell.
The reason deathcore was so good back in the MySpace era is because it was recorded on cheap equipment, by people who didn’t really know what they were doing.
It sounded messy and chaotic.
This definitely has that MySpace core vibe.
Im not even lying when i say i have never had a more enjoyable time listening to music than i have this last week with Boundaries and AlphaWolf
Darkness shared is my favorite song on this record
thank you so much for showing boundaries❤
This made me happy. Album's a masterpiece. fk yes
That "I fuckin hate you" with the chugs took me back to the 2008 Gwen Stacy chicken bob/flex on stage days
Just saw them last night in Glasgow supporting bodysnatcher and spite 😍
2:15 nothing sounds as old school heavy as this anymore. This sounds heavier than a lot of modern "heavy" stuff. This slaps.
This song almost sounds what Norma Jean would have sounded like if you could hear it.
Just waiting for the scuffed 69% sub intro to debut on one of these xD
Honestly thought nik would’ve reacted to the new architects song today… but these boundaries tracks are fire! 🔥
Reminds me of when I heard "I am healed" by Cult Leader
Album of the year, no question
5:43 that reaction, same as me 😂
We the people need more boundaries
Was on the fence to listen to this but now I'm hooked. I hear a lot of All Else failed band in this.
Knocked Loose better watch out. Boundaries might be coming for the hardcorecore crown.
My first thought on listening was someone enjoyed shadows are security
Boundaries have been putting out complete bangers for years.
Leave the myspace metalcore revival to SeeYouSpaceCowboy. Boundaries are doing more of Norma Jean, Converge sound, which is beautiful
Is it gay that I just want to sit around with a bunch of other dudes and formulate MySpace core breakdown riffs instead of hanging out with my boyfriend today?
It's very straight but only if i'm invited
back to 20 years ago, god damn, age sure is relentless..
Boundaries and alpha wolf dukin it out right now for aoty so far
For real. I think Boundaries gets the edge but holy fckk that Alpha Wolf is everything i expected and more.
@@8JFJK8 agree didn't exlecting alpha wolf going that hard
no album has come close to this for me this year
this album is 🔥🔥🔥🔥
I am sad that I am just hearing these guys for the first time! Im gonna play this album to death now!
I feel like I just went back in time 20 years and I'm listening to the new Killswitch Engage album. I'm ok with this movement if it brings me more Through The Eyes Of The Dead - Three Inches From a Main Artery style chunk.
Boundaries referenced. Hell yeah.
