- I really love this song from my good friends @bryantorwalt & @katietorwalt. So thankful for the songs they’ve written for their church (and their Christmas music is great as well!🎄)
When I sing this I love picturing what it must have been like when Jesus was here on earth and he walked into someone’s house. On the outside just a normal guy, but carrying peace, patience, kindness, wisdom, power, and love within him like no one before or since. The heaven inside Him overflowed into the world around Him.
I love the faith that this song carries, and I hope wherever you are today that it might turn the eyes of your hearts to Jesus. His love, through the cross and the empty tomb has truly changed everything. - Hudba

We are saved by grace through faith in Jesus. “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:”
Ephesians 2:8
With that being said, as Christians we are called to turn from sin and to live righteously. That should NEVER be interpreted to mean that we have to EARN Gods forgiveness. Works of the law will NEVER get you saved nor keep you saved. However, good works are EVIDENCE of GENUINELY being born again and of GENUINE salvation.

@@onenesspentecostalism6866 Yes, You must turn away from your sins but Jesus knows that we are of the flesh and not perfect. We can NEVER be sinless in this flesh world. That is why he became the sacrificial lamb for us. For OUR sins. When you are saved and the Holy Spirit enters your being, all you want to do is to please The Lord Jesus. We will still sin. You need to repent when you do BUT we are saved by the Blood of Jesus Christ.
@@onenesspentecostalism6866 Once you are saved, you have gotten on your knee's and admitted you are a sinner and you deserve your punishment, You repent for all your sins and you believe deep within your heart that Jesus is the son of God sent here in the flesh to take on all the sins of the world and that he died, was buried and rose on the third day. Believe it in your heart and confess it with your mouth, You are then baptized in The Holy Spirit. He resides within you. You are changed.
Now, if you want to be baptized in a Church or a lake etc. I'm sure he loves that as well! The water baptism is symbolic of you dying with Christ (into the water) and being reborn in Christ (coming out of the water) It is a beautiful expression and announcement to the world of your commitment but I don't believe it is a requirement to be welcomed back into the Kingdom.
@@onenesspentecostalism6866 It says "And be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ' Once you are saved, You will become baptized in the name of Jesus Christ with the Holy Spirit that enters into you and changes you, I have also been water baptized, If you are worried about it I would say go ahead and get water baptized.
And if you are not sure . really the best thing you can do is pray to Jesus and ask him to tell you.

@@onenesspentecostalism6866 great question! Internally yes. The apostle Paul puts it, we must die to ourselves. Which means giving up that life of sin and being new again in Christ which comes from repentance and acceptance of Him as Lord. The issue is we are of sin nature and not one of us is perfect even after internally giving up sin. This is where God’s grace is reflected from the sending of His one and only son who was able to live in perfection who took the sins of the world upon Himself (the includes our past, present, and future sins) and died on the cross in our place. Not only did Jesus die for us, but 3 days later resurrected defeating death so that death no longer has any power over those who have just humbly accepted the Lord’s saving grace. So yes internally there must be a desire to turn away from sin. However, sin has stained us. So if you are still in sin, which we all are, there is hope because of the beautiful grace of God. But allow the conviction of your sin to turn into motivation to give the Lord your very best. Remember we are not saved by works but we are saved by grace. If are we saved by works then JESUS did not need to come. But because our works can’t save us, Jesus’s death and resurrection offers those who take it freely salvation.

@@onenesspentecostalism6866 I believe baptism is important in an aspect of uniting believers in celebration of one’s decision to accept Jesus as savior. I myself have been baptized for it is “the next steps” after salvation not in a legalistic way but in celebration of salvation. But I personally do not believe there is anything special about the water or the action of baptism in regards to salvation. The individual’s heart will be what is judged by God not whether or not they were baptized. I will always recommend continuing on with baptism to new believers, but I believe if a true faithful believer in Christ died without being baptized. They will not be sentenced to hell for it’s not the action of baptism that saves but it’s the internal transformation of the heart on the inside that the Lord judges.
@@onenesspentecostalism6866 lol and I thought you were requesting help. Based off what you said I’m saved so I guess there’s not much debate. But I do think you are putting too much emphasis on baptism. Baptism is a work. The salvation my God gives is not legalistic but by grace alone and the internal transformation on the inside. There’s many different interpretations of this particular passage. We may never know which is right until we get to Heaven. But I personally feel if we make baptism a “must” for salvation. That is border line Islam territory as salvation is becoming more legalistic and based off of works. So I’m not against you or questioning your salvation but I would suggest ponder and pray on that idea as I will sit on that particular passage myself.
@@onenesspentecostalism6866 that’s a lack of wisdom and understanding to copy and paste the same exact message as before. Again based off of your message, I have repented of my sins and have been baptized so according to your interpretation I am saved. So there’s really no debate. Though I feel I made a good point about being careful not to put too much emphasis on baptism for truth of salvation is not based off of works. Though you don’t seem to be very responsive, so that tells me you don’t really have much knowledge or material to actually talk through theological subjects. Presenting scripture is important. But if we are only presenting scripture without knowledge of why you interpret the scripture the way you do then there won’t be any agreement. I’m praying for you. It’s good to be firm to your belief but be open enough and know enough to actually have a conversation.
