Southerners should visit Malaysia, we also drink our teas very sweet, though sometimes we adds lime instead of lemon. And our milk tea used condensed milk instead of actual milk. And we prefers Iced unless its raining.
That sound very good!
LIME, INSTEAD OF LEMON?! WE DECLARE WAR
That sounds good! I wish it wasn't so exspensive to travel to other countries or I would definitely go to try some of that tea in Malaysia
Love tea of all types, so Malaysian tea sounds really good! Iced Tea works very well in hot climates and the southern US can be really hot - so it makes sense Malaysians would also prefer iced tea given the climate.
...why have i never heard of this before? I've never liked milk in tea but a bit of lime?
HUH.
Very interesting and informative. It's always cool to learn the origins of our modern iconic... well, everything. Keep up the great work.
+zippyzion25 Thank you. Much more on the way
One of the few good things I love about the south. Cant get enough of sweet tea.
Nicely explained
Enterteaching me with information I never realized I wanted to know until I saw it here. Great explanation, great analysis, great video. Well done.
+USArmyMedic 1 Thanks! More coming...
If you're Southern, you grow up drinking sweet tea outside and at home. And we drink gallons of coffee. Thanks, very interesting
Perfectly done
Thanks!!!
This video is awesome, thank you for making it!!!
+Romel Adon Absolutely! Thanks for watching. Gonna do more like this in the near future.

Facinating!

Who would have thought there was this much to the Sweet Tea story? Well you apparently. I'm looking forward to watching more of your stuff.
Got a bunch coming down the pipe =)
The cat's name is spot -- And though you are not sentient -- You are a good friend
Bravo! What a tremendous effort! Liked and subscribed!
Thank you so much. You've come along at just the right time =)
wow... just wow. Came here from Trekspertise also amazing!!
+waitingforvizzini Thanks. More coming very soon :)
Great video
very nicely structured video! enjoyed learning about the subject. Great job!
Thanks :)
Black people everywhere in the US make, drink and serve it.
Maybe. Would depend on the individual, wouldn't it?
We add a shot of apple cider vinegar with our sweet tea and I've also takin a liking to buying premium Chinese or Taiwanese black loose leaf and add local honey for a nice cup every once an awhile
Whoa. That sounds interesting.
5:00 oh snap it's Jack Black
Isn't it, though?
Another good video, sweet tea I enjoy every once awhile, the acid in cold tea not good as a regular thing. Green tea my only favorite is Gunpowder tea of course it’s better hot and maybe with lime or honey or both. Gunpowder has a better taste and you don’t think your drinking someone’s lawn😂
Sad fact. If you go west from the southeast sweet tea cuts off around denver.
Booo!!
I like green with breakfast and lunch. And black in evenings. Iced or hot.
Tell me the history of sweet tea Kyle Sullivan
SUGAR! (I want encyclopedia!) When you coming back to Miami?
Not this year, I'm afraid, but definitely 2018.
Gotta hit up Antarctica this year.
My cat is female.
In another episode
It is male. Quite odd.
My Feline Roommate,
Spot, Does Not Yet Operate
The Replicator
Would Spot drink sweet tea?
Yes, though with complications.
It may rot Spot's teeth.
One week, male tabby,
Next week, a female lizard,
You remain my friend.
Y’all can tell the guy who made this video is a yankee. He kept saying “Iced Tea” and “Sweet Iced Tea” It’s not called Iced Tea in the south we call in Sweet Tea.
I've lived in the South my entire life. In Alabama, no less, which is far more Southern than most of "the south".
And we can pronounce it however we want ;)
Kyle Sullivan I find that hard to believe 😉
I prefer you, Spot
Not as the iguanidae
Your fur far too plush.
