- With the end in sight for the completion of my 2,000pt Warhammer 40K Ork Dread Mob army list, I'm moving onto the last 3 Killa Kans.
Although I highly rate the standard Kill Kan kit and the myriad of options it comes with, on this fella I'm going a little bit extra. Hope you enjoy and let me know what you think in the comments below 😊

Love this video - I've wanted to do one of my Killa Kans with the grot sticking his head out the top so it was good to see how to do this.

Cheers bud, just keep ahold of your bits and you'll get there. I always end up trying to keep the odd choice bit to the side when building 'official' kits. I also peruse the odd bits site, www.bitsandkits.co.uk is a good one 👍
13:55 I've wanted to make Tankbustas with PIATs for a while. In the actual weapon, the spring is part of the firing mechanism, the projectile has its own propulsion. But that's too refined for orks. They would have an stupidly powerful spring slam into the rokkit to send itr flying.

kitbashing looks super fun, and these videos help makes it seem less daunting to me. especially with orks it really seems like you can take a model and replace weapons and other bits with extra parts you have from other models to make the model and the procsess of making it more fun and personalized. I don't have a ton but I have some extra parts since i've been keeping my sprews when i'm done with a kit and they usually have at least a few extra parts, especially if it's a kit where the models have multiple choices for weapons and stuff. i've got some warbikers and meganobz coming since I want them to attach ghazgkull and my deffkilla wartrike to with the way leaders/charachters work in 10th edition so im gonna try doing a bit of kitbashing on them so I can try it out for the first time
Kitbashing is the part of the hobby that I enjoy the most, and Orks just do it better than any other faction 😁
Best advice I can give is just dive right in, seek inspiration from all around but don't plan too much. Things will often change mid way or develop as you work on it.
Never throw bits away, also take any free bits than come your way 😝 I use websites like bitsandkits.com for specific bits if I do t have them.
Also plastic card and greenstuff are good, as well as a sharp knife,drill and good super glue 😁

Bottom line is if you're enjoying it, you're doing it right 😁👍
@TheDrunkenOrk I'm so looking forward to my warbikers and meganobz arriving so I can try kitbashing them. I just assembled some kommandos that my uncle gave me from his kill team kit and they have lots of extra parts since every model you could choose between different weapons, and their heads with the masks and helmets look super cool so I'm definitely gonna use them on other models in the future. I'm also gonna keep the extra parts from my dad's tyranids that i painted recently I especially think they would be great if I ever got any beast snagged or beast bosses.
@biobuilder4366 nice one bud, and yeah, kommandos ha e got lots of cool bits. I, for one, love the gas mask heads, especially on bikers. Makes me think of 'road warrior' types 😊👍

That wrecking ball and chain is a reason I really don't like the Trukk kit, very flimsy lol. Built some years ago and have returned to the hobby going to try my hand at kitbashing a trukk this time around.
I've never used the wrecking ball on a trukk yet, but yeah man, definitely kitbash your trukks, so much scope 😊👍
