  • The Navajo Nation has the highest COVID-19 infection rate of anywhere in the U.S. With the story largely overlooked by the media and limited support from the government, a grassroots women-led movement is rising up to fight back against the pandemic. These volunteers are raising millions of dollars and providing much needed help to the most vulnerable members of their Indigenous community.

We (the Irish) won't forget the generosity the Native Americans showed us in our time of need during our Great Famine and only after Trail of Tears. I'm glad to support the Navajo fund and I'll continue to try drum up more awareness, truly a great people in need of help! I really hope something more can be done after the pandemic to help you guys and clean up the pollution caused by mining and fracking on your reservations, I think the world owes it to your people due to the previous injustices and grief caused!

The US always has money for open ended wars, yet we keep seeing people who are pooling money together to help others out.

Our tribe has 44 cases. Haven't had a new case in a couple of weeks. This makes me so sad for the Navajo Nation.
