Marc. I like your flies very much. Not too complicated to tie and they catch fish, for sure 👍. Thank you 🙏
That is a wonderful fly. In the shot from under the water for a second I even thought it was real. Very nice.
Very interesting and enjoyable tuition, thank you, I'm slowly gathering your tools.
Great CDC Mayfly Marc....I always enjoy your creations. Thanks for sharing.
Very nice! After watching these videos im getting inspired to begin tying CdC!
Cheers!
Great process and fabulous engineering!

When I sit and watch one of your videos, all of these other areas of Swiss design excellence comes to mind. Well done sir. Hope to someday have the pleasure of owning your tools.
InstaBlaster.
You certainly are the King of CDC. I love the way that vise moves around that is why I bought it. That is a beautiful representation of a BWO. Thanks for sharing both your flies and your fantastic tools. I have most of them now. I still have not found the straight scissors for cutting the body. All the best to you and yours. Sean
Sean Mooney where did u get them please answer
Mike Reynolds Hello Mike, I bought the vise at Caddisflyshop.com. The Petitjean Master vise. He also has the tools. Tell Chris Daughters I sent you. It may help. I know it will help me with a discount on my next order. Not sure how much or if he can discount the vise. There is an anniversary edition too but twice the original price I hear. All the best, Sean
wow nice job, also your tools are Quality and well worth the money thanks for the post Mark.
Ça paraît si simple et pourtant quelle maîtrise !

Very nicely done. I like your technique and material. BWO is my best fly to fish.
Super fly nicely done. Enjoy your videos
masterfully done my friend
beautiful and easy to do
Great fly would love to fish it in Montana. excited to tie some up
Max Walker love his flies. Cdc is amazing feather. This fly works in montana and north east like west branch delaware which is very hard to fish at times. I have tried it and tied many of these in different colors.
Master class thank you
Nice fly Marc..... I’ll give that one a go. Won’t be anything like yours though! lol
Quite realitic looking.

Blue wing olive is baetis rhodani?
That's some of the best looking CDC I've seen. Which company is it from? I'm assuming it would need to cross an ocean to get to me here in VA. Anyone have knowledge of good suppliers here in the States? My bulk box I got from MFC is just ok.
jolie petit montage!merci.
Hi Marc nice fly thanks.

Hallo aus Hamburg,
wo bekommt man den Tiemco 5240 in Deutschland oder Österreich?
Freue mich auf eine Antwort!
the label on the box said 5212, I don't think there is a 5240

Maître Petitjean.
never see cdc like that in the USA.
I come back to this tie, time and time again. It's masterful, although slanted towards his Marc's own products. Well - fair enough. Aero Dry Wing is a far superior alternative to the CDC wing element, and it can be used on the body wind-up too. As Marc shows, dark CDC is best for the thorax/legs elements.
Petitjean products are over-priced, but they are brilliant and essential. Just avoid the Renome re-badged and ferociously priced scissors.
I tie using a LAW type vice, which is wonderful. Still, though, I am tempted by that Swiss Master vise.
