As a Vikings fan, Aaron Rodgers has haunted me the last 10 years
Same as a bears fan
@Eli Powell didn’t ask
@@user-zo5jo3ox5g nobody asked you either
@@user-zo5jo3ox5g shut up
Bruh try being a lions fan. Don't even pretend it's comparable to the same pain
What’s so crazy is, when the defender is caught out, they end up just hesitating and standing or even backing off the line for a bit while realizing they messed up. This gives Rodgers even MORE time to get the ball down field for free.
It’s almost as if the only counter for the defense is just to keep running at the line and take the encrouchment penalty.
I had that same thought. I wonder if there is a rule against that. If we see it so does every scout that plays against Rodgers
That actually kinda is the counter, I watch other qbs try to do it and play gets called dead and it's because the defender keeps running to the qb , that's when they'll blow the whistle to protect the qb. If he hesitates then they let the play run but If the defender doesnt stop running more than likely it will get blown dead
@@DutchVannDerLinde they have to touch someone for it to be called dead
@@Cherry_Meatloaf Or just be unabated to the QB
Yeah but as a defender, would you rather take a chance to get back on sides and save your team yards or for sure give up a critical 5 yard penalty? It’s easy to take the penalty when you see rodgers torch you for a touchdown, but there’s been plenty of times the defender gets back onside before the ball is snapped or the defense stops the free play. Rodgers has a knack for usually not letting defenders get back on time, but its more instinctive on both sides than anything. Plus your coaches aren’t going to be happy with you if you decide to just keep running at the qb. At least attempting to get back onsides is showing effort in trying to fix a mistake
Aaron Rodgers football IQ is off the charts
So is his non-football IQ:
czcams.com/video/M-sEiMsOPY8/video.html
@@genemars5158 I heard the announcers saying he was interested in becoming the Jeopardy host full-time. I would imagine the greatest QB's have above average intellect.
it is cheap and dumb football rule. next thing you know you will tell us new england won those superbowls fair.
1:06 people forget rodgers has been making these throws WAY before mahomes
Exactly
who do you think mahomes watched play
Matt Stafford as well.
If you think about it pat Mahomes and Aaron rodgers have had almost mirror matching starts to there career
That's WHY Mahomes excited me so much when I first saw him play. He reminded me of Rodgers like Rodgers reminded me of Steve Young
This man has something special in his voice that he can get these pros to jump so much. No other QB can get these free plays
Gotta be frustrating for even the best defenses, because they practice this, but at least once a game, they take the bait. It's not that these defenses are undisciplined, it's just that Aaron Rodgers is that good at his craft.
If you look at Mahomes he gets these free plays as well. He and Rodgers are really good at getting free plays.
@@Matt-em1pr It's not really Mahomes' hard count though, defenses are just scared to death of the speed on the Chiefs and know they have to go fast if they want to make a play. Rodgers' cadence demands the full of your focus if you don't want to be fooled.
@@Horible4 yeah baker dose the hard count better than pat but nobody is truly scared of the browns offense as they are of the cheifs
I think part of it is the way Rodgers uses the play clock almost to the very last second. When the D-line is on the line of Scrimmage - Cocked and locked - There's a very good chance they are going to jump.
The Packers Freeplay is a beautiful mix of quarterback awareness, teamwork, and discipline.
Rodgers being aware of every action on the field including there being 12 men on the field, the O-line having the discipline not to jump, the centre knowing to snap the ball immediately and the WRs knowing to go deep and get open.
That man is amazing but please recognize that the offense line has to not move either. This doesn't work out if not for timing. 💯
Linsley and Scott Wells have shown TREMENDOUS discipline and awareness over the years. The whole line has, of course, but if the Center doesn't snap that ball instantly, the play gets blown dead
It's a beautiful synchronicity
1:06 Chad Clifton, left tackle #76 with an unreal play
Block in the back
@@palereaper Nope, he pushed his shoulder, not his back.
@@priankdasgupta5754 it was definitely the back
@@priankdasgupta5754 Definitely the back
Yep, both hands in the back. Would have been a bummer to undo a cool play, but the penalty was obvious.
3:15 Joe Buck excited as fuck
HAHA
Those were the BAD days of Buck
Haha I mean hey, 0:45 was good lol
Man, I miss Jones.
Agree, but I miss Nelson more.
Greg Jennings, James Jones, Randall Cobb, Jordy Nelson and Donald Driver bring back some great memories.
Also Julius Peppers
30th like
@@Xaddre - Finley, too. Ridiculous, though both Jones and Jennings really faltered when not catching balls from the BOAT. Synergy and chemistry are massive in the NFL.
Love the free plays but can we talk about how Geronimo Allison brakes ankles in the first clip
The fact that you can make a whole compilation of these is goated.
Rodgers is so notorious for this that teams facing the Packers have special sessions of training on it.
And he still gets them
Which takes, no matter how much time, time away from actual defensive game planning
The funny thing is most of these throws are smart throws not just 50\50 jump balls!! This mans the GOAT!!
Anyone here after Chris Collinsworth said NOBODY draws more offsides than Patrick Mahomes
When it's Rodgers who is the king at it
Yes the nfl is on its hands and knees for mahomes
Came here to watch amazing free plays, end laughing my a** off. Awesome.
On these plays, you can tell Rodgers and the center are always in sync. As soon as the center sees the defense jump he snaps it immediately and the receivers I'm sure know to run vertical routes. Rodgers is the king but it definitely requires the entire offense to be on the same page, something I'm sure the practice alot.
Goat
As a lifetime Packers fan, Brady is the goat. But Rodgers is the most talented. His skill was just wasted on bad coaching.
Dr Chowder That is the most common take I have heard. Literally everyone that has spoke on this topic says that.
@@GabeSweeney Because its true
Intelligence and accuracy wise, they are about equal. Rodgers has the better arm strength and is the better runner, making him more talented
@@williambohannon6264 It is true. But everyone knows that. No point in commenting something everyone already knows
@@GabeSweeney I understand what you mean
To even think that anyone is better is crazy. Man is doin things we have never seen
Clips from 5+ years ago: HD
Clip from last season: 15 frames per second 360p
Look more like a James jones highlight tap to me
James Jones was so badass
Here u go here u go - David Bakhtiairi whenever there is a free play
Nah its the center going "hego hego" as a command to snap it bc they went offsides
I like how the offensive lineman help the center by saying he go to tell him to snap it
And this isn't even all of them. Lol
1. Have the wherewithal to either draw the D off-sides or caught with a 12th man
2. Buy time by rolling out, spinning or stepping up in the small pocket (or throwing off the back foot)
3. From any conceivable throwing position, fit it into a tiny window as usually GB receivers cannot separate.
2:47 that was so smart and well executed. brilliant
Best hard count I've ever seen.. Well heard.
credit to the o-line as well, they're smart enough to avoid contact before the snap and avoid a free runner to the QB, either of which would've ended the play
Damn! It's seems like James Jones is the recipient of a lot of those throws.
This is also a compilation of some of his best throws lmao
3:29 Rodgers: Got this fool!
The diamond has many facets, this is just one of the facets that will put this man in Canton.
one thing that doesnt get mentioned much with these plays is the linemen calling it out when their guy jumps. in almost all the plays you here them yell "here you go" and point in case rodgers doesnt see it. gotta give props to the big guys.
He really is just so good
2021 rules forever go Packers 💚💚💚💚💚💚👍
From a bears fan these free plays are just so entertaining to watch
That’s my Aaron!!!💚💛💚❤️
A simple yet game changing strategy
For most dudes this is a career highlight real. For Aaron Rodgers this is just his free plays highlight real
The fact this is a highlight reel is a testament to the greatness of this man
The GOAT
I love how the defenders that jumped just stand there for a second
It’s painful as a lions fan that the packers have been good 80% of the years I’ve been alive
Thats Sad Brother
The throwback uniforms are great.
Basically a James Jones highlight reel :P
Credit goes to a well-disciplined offensive line.
I Miss Jordy Nelson. A-Rod 12 - Nelson 87. sob.
He is so good at that
Is he even throwing out hard counts here, or is he just so intimidating in the pocket that the DLines wanna get to him ASAP
What impressed me the most is that there was always a flag thrown
Insanity insanity
Rodgers free play highlight reel is more then some QBs career reels.
The first clip is my first Packers game
Hopefully our wide receivers can be as good as the last core
His throw motion is like a WWE hitman punch
I'm continually amazed at all the accolades Rodgers gets with an 11-10 playoff record and only ONE Super Bowl win. Is he ever going to play in the big games like the legendary MVP he claims to be?
That arm is more powerful than superman
Who’s the guy who says “here ya go hea ya go” every time 😂
I’ll never understand why the Packers never draft this guy weapons. Most talented player to ever touch a ball and they give him no help at all
aaron rodgers dont need weapons, aaron rodgers turn no name players into weapons.
Love that Adams wasn't featured once. What a cannnt.
Peyton was also very good at these.
The video is almost five minutes long of Rodgers throwing touchdowns after drawing them offsides and that was the even all of them
This reminds me of throwing bananas in mario kart.
Mama! There goes the bad man again!
James Jones was his #1 target for the free play I see lol
Why do most offsides players stop?
Why not keep going to try to prevent something worse than the penalty?
Shout out to scott wells #63 great chem with rodgers knows to just hike it back whenever he see someone jump across out the corner of his eye. Also lmao how many years yall think James Jones would have been in the NFL if Rodgers wasnt his QB? More than 2? 🤣
💚💛
When you look up "savvy" in the Oxford dictionary
"If you're gunna jump offsides you better get a fucking sack to stop the free play you caused." - my highschool football coach lol Every one of these guys tried to stop. My coach would be pissed 🤣
Damn I'm gonna miss rodgers when he retires
Who the hell gave this 28 thumbs downs? All the defensive linemen he caught in these videos???
it’s a fact
How did Valdez catch that one?
YOU MISSED ONE! 2016 Divisional playoff game at Dallas. First series, Packers had 3rd & 4 at their 26. Cowboys got caught with 12 men on the field, ON THE THIRD PLAY OF THE GAME! Pass was incomplete, but penalty gave GB 1st down. They scored afterwards.
Cowboys should have known AR's reputation for free plays, and had two weeks to prepare, but obviously that didn't happen. Cost the Cowboys the game.
Before that play I was a big Jason Garrett fan, but I spent the rest of that game (and every game since) screaming at the TV, "FIRE GARRETT! FIRE GARRETT!! FIRE GARRETT!!!"
Jones had the best hands 👌
99% of these were James Jones touchdowns lol what a duo they were.
You know your a great quarterback when you got compilations of makeing touchdowns while tricking players into false starts
When you see that yellow flag fly up from the bottom of the screen... YOU KNOW the defense is FK'D🤣
I’m a die hard ravens fan but the best QB of all time imo is Aaron Rodgers. Some of these throws are just ridiculous 1:14
No other QB has film like this. Aaron Rodgers is truly legendary, but it's a team sport, so he doesn't have the championships like Brady, but he's still better.
3:10 not a free play. The false start by the center caused the Bears to jump.
Very peytonesque
1:09 is just fucking ridiculous
So if someone jumps offsides, why don't they just keep going if it's already a flag.
Should have been named Rodgers to Jones best plays lol
Is this the actor from Game of Thrones? Didn't know he also played football. I guess being an actor doesn't pay much, he needs a second job, that makes sense.
How much credit goes to the center? 10%? 20%?
He learned it from the legend, Favre
Rodgers>>>>>>>>Farve
@Nikosis Dude, you are trippin hard! Favre is not just a legend in Green Bay, hes a legend in football in general.
@@iGotBombKushh Favre is a legend but Rodgers>>>>>>>>Favre
@@Simbaforlife Yes, i agree. My reply was to someone who commented saying favre wasnt a legend, so i corrected him. He deleted his comment.
3:32
Wat kills me os dam near all the plays had flag 😂
I can’t tell if ur serious..... I truly hope not
@@joshsobel431 I seen flags everytime he threw the ball
1:26 it’s just unfair. Listen to him. This should be illegal lol
These are just the ones that resulted in big plays. There's a bunch that drew a pass interference call. A ton which just resulted a the 5 yard penalty and a bunch more that were blown dead.
Amazing but I still question, why the refs wave of other qbs almost always. But with Rodgers, it's like they allow the plays. Im not saying Rodgers aint good cause he's awesome, but it always seems this way
Their line communicates to the center to snap it immediately when it happens
@@matthewgray1115 I've seen quicker snaps by non packer centers. Still gets whistled
Mostly goes based off of touching. If a defender touches a offensive lineman before the ball is snapped its ruled dead. Also if defender doesn't hesitate and keeps going with a bead on the QB they'll blow it dead bc of safety of the QB
Rodgers took an absolutely brutal hit to the knees at 3:25. oml.
Imagine how many rings we would have if he were only drafted by the 49ers. Just sucks to see such greatness wasted.
How does the quarterback see the flag so quickly and know that it's a free play?? 🤔 And what if there's a turnover on the play and then the offside penalty is challenged and not upheld?
You can’t challenge offsides and if someone jumps offsides you can clearly see it you don’t need to actually see the flag
@@JayD73 Oh, okay. Thanks for the explanation.
@@JayD73 But how does the QB know that one of his guys didn't false start and it's NOT a free play?
@@gwalker5327 because if it’s not a free play the refs blow the whistle and stop everything
How could they not put the chiefs on the packers schedule this year? Has Aaron Rodgers ever faces Patrick Mahomes ? That’s just blasphemous!
Because the packers played the afc west last year they won’t play it until 2022 or unless they play in the super bowl
I feel like it’s a reason why they not letting them face off. They know that’s what we want to see . So let me ask you when they played the chiefs last year did Mahomes play?
Mahomes was hurt the last time they played
@@theastrologypage1200 Mahomes was injured during that game
@@theastrologypage1200 are you stupid. The schedule works on an algorithm. An NFC divison plays the AFC division every 4 yrs. so the packers wont play the AFC west till 2023.
so half James Jones career receiving yards were on busted plays...shoulda watched the tape Raiders!
