I'm glad someone highlighted it, otherwise in most of dramas the solution is to fit into Beauty standard and change themselves completely in order to take revenge. If you're literally changing yourselves for them then it's a win win for them because they bullied you due to your appearance and by changing it you're proving them right. I mean SOMETIMES people always wanted to change, either for health reasons or be cause they just want to. They have the right to change their mind, specially of their appearance. A lot of those changes have them still not forgetting their past and still helping those who looked like that, because like it or not, usually you need someone of the 'higher prestige' to support you to be heard. Not always, but usually. Some people are too ignorant otherwise.
But I would agree that there are SOME dramas/stories where social pressure does win overall, where the person who changed to look like the skinny or toned body standards forgot their roots and humility.
