- Okay I used the LATV video title suggestion. I didn't really want to because it didn't seem like something that would be picked up via keyword or searching since it's a play on words, hope you guys like it so YT knows :)
The medic/ammo box on the hood of the LATV is both a shield and obstacle to break line of sight.
The whole dropping Angel's supply box on vehicles thing has been in the game since launch so I have to ask why patch it now? Was it really because I used it to launch vehicles or because it could be used like the AA mines in BF4 to stop vehicles? Because DICE don't seem to care if you drop it on teammates.

People at DICE definitely patch it after they saw your video. They don't like see you having fun: slower 8x scopes, GVT nerf...

took me 30 hrs before enjoying it, it's an okay game really.
I'd say since release the game right now is atleast enjoyable. They do these stupid "seasons" where it's the same map rotation for weeks at a time which kinda sucks. Just get gamepass

The medic/ammo box has saved me since BF4. Definitely don't understand why they patched the supply crate. It was fun and occasionally produced hilarious results. Had one launch my LATV inside the buildings on renewal, somehow getting a roadkill before exploding.

yes the medkit acts as a one-time-use shield and has done in most BF games, but also technically no because in those 2 clips they never actually hit it, the medkit would've been destroyed if it was hit, they just missed their shots lmao
@@Conargle Those clips show them jumping and not being road killed. I'm wondering if the medkit is actually shielding them by being a barrier to the vehicles impact. It has nothing to do with the shield trick.

it's possible.. and not unlikely, given how a few patches ago the physics were so borked that just vaulting over things would mysteriously kill you somehow. But it's also possible that due to general connection stability/network lag related factors, vehicle hitboxes are jank and have definitely been that way since launch. Jumping or just going prone can help you survive things that really should've killed you
Lag, they have bad internet, desync, collision failing, lots of reasons for it to happen in BF2042.

No, not yet, although technically it didn't even work at launch and it was added to the BF2042 in a later patch ( probably by accident ).

Why doesn’t the tree say as an entity for a while or the whole game
Physics is usually the reason. It's not something you want to spend resources on throughout the entire game as it takes a toll on processing power etc. to do the physics calculations when it interacts with other objects so if you had a bunch of trees that were knocked over by vehicles constantly interacting with other objects for the entire round the game's performance would tank on the player's client. Generally it's not something you spend resources on with muiltiplayer games and it's something you'd usually dedicate systems and resources to within singleplayer games where the idea it's a constant or interactable object is expected.
Ty damnit I wish the objects would say and potentially hide the players or the tank I would say. I brought this up because I want to be able to set up tank ambushes. They could make the objects or certain objects say for a little while. But I understand
@@keyontreclark8189 The other problem you run into with that especially with multiplayer games is often times the interactions with objects are client-side only. The last few Battlefield titles haven't been like that but BF4 and BF3 the objects were client-side only so you could move boxes, tires, debris around and it would visually only render or show up on the client and wouldn't update everyone else's client via the server. So what you moved around and saw would usually not be the same as the rest of the people in the server which in some cases can be another problem altogether especially if those objects can still be interacted with ( stopping bullets, etc. ).

I haven't been streaming because of a lingering cough that won't seem to go away. Talking or using my voice makes me cough more so streaming would just be pointless as is it would be me trying to answer questions, then stopping to cough a lot all while trying to play.

If you want Battlefield to be more like Call of Duty and Fortnite I would say go right ahead.
It's better than it was, I would not say it's better than BF4. I'd get it if you can get some friends to get it too, it's much less fun solo.

How do I get in these bot lobbies? Like if I see an LATV, they're getting headshot, and the people I play against seem similarly aware. I need to be on a whitelist like this lol
1. These are highlights, the things in this video will obviously not happen every game
2. The majority of BF players are very casual and mostly not very good
