Waris Dirie does not get tired in her fighting against female genital mutilation (FGM)! Now, in Sierra Leone, she gave an emotional speech to diplomats and NGO staff, and received a lot of applause.

I have just read "Desert Flower". Once I started I couldn't put it down. I admire this woman so much and feel so sorry for the millions of women who have had to endure this barbaric practice. The sooner it's outlawed all over the world the better. Disgusting!!
