    I just wanted to say that you were the one who inspired me to cut my hair into a tapered cut and I love it! My whole life I thought I had to have long hair to be pretty and now I've gotten rid of those chains that held me back from doing what I wanted to do. I'm glad I realized this at 15 rather than later. May God continue to use you to inspire others

    I deep condition and hot oil weekly. leave-in and LOC or LOCO or LCO and my hair is still dry I don't even have color treated hair. Its mostly the 4bB/C sections. The 4A/3C areas don't have that problem.

    I really do like your color and your haircut. You are my inspiration! LOL...it looks really great on you as I am contemplating cutting and coloring my hair. I want something easier to handle instead of sweating after a good morning workout and twistout just done. To tell the truth deep conditioning is what helped me out and I tell people that all the time. LOL...great video and awesome tips!

    Almost 6yrs natural never developed a regimen. I've retain length but it stunts at bra strap. Biggest issue I decided to go blonde this weekend and I made the decision to deep condition every week. So I pray this can help. When I was relaxed and colored I had one. And my was healthy and longer than it is now. So I slacked badly so I hope deep conditioning weekly helps. Cause I change gon come.

    my hair is breaking. every time I touch it or comb it big, thick strings come out! It feels like my hair has been stripped of moisture even when I put in a leave-in conditioner. Plus, I dyed my hair which made it worse!

    • @1durful
      @1durful Před 7 lety +3

      Kwasha Burts Deep condition your hair with protein keratin treatments. That will help your strands to become stronger and reduce dryness/frizz. I've dyed my hair as well.

    • @tamaraj4745

    • @askpRoy
      @askpRoy  Před 9 lety +1

      ***** Right and wrong is relative. My regimen is specific to me so I do what works best for my hair. If you skip conditioning and your deep conditioning is suffice, continue to do you boo!! :-)

    hi miss lady i love your hair . l need your help about my color treated hair . I don't no if it is shedding are breaking . when it's wet and i run my hands threw it it's on my fingers . when i wash it in this shower string of fall out with hair knots on tha ends . So i don't no what to do this just started last week i am a year and five months natural so I would appreciate any information you could give me . Thank you

    • @miawalker1246
      @miawalker1246 Před 7 lety

      seems like both but if you notice a white bulb at the end then it's from the roots that's shedding. You should consider getting a good trim and deep condition often.

  • @Sharebear3093
    @Sharebear3093 Před 9 lety

    Quick question if anyone can answer it. I bleached my hair almost 2 years ago the color grew out nice and fast and I'll be cutting off what's left over to start fresh... a few months back I had a box she applied to my roots but the color somewhat showed. I wanted to know if cream of nature would be effective for my super net black hair or would I have to bleach again

    • @askpRoy
      @askpRoy  Před 9 lety

      Sharen St. Martin There is a possibility that you can go in for color correction but I would highly recommend a stylist for that. Jet black hair is so hard to lift because of the color deposit and I've seen (from my own experience) hair lifted from jet black to blonde turn green (strand test). Visit a stylist to talk about the process - it may take multiple sessions to get it where you want it.

    • @Sharebear3093
      @Sharebear3093 Před 9 lety

      Oh wow I figured that's so scary. I tried other things before the bleach but it didn't work, I had no problems when I bleached my hair just wondered if I could try without bleach but I definitely will contact a stylist thank you so much!!

    • @genaharris2382

      Okay what would be a good daily use to enhance your curls for natural colored hair?

    • @askpRoy
      @askpRoy  Před 7 lety

      Maybe instead of washing it, just style it with a moisturizer and install bantu knots if you so choose. You'll need the natural oils from your scalp to generate before washing them out again too frequent washes can lead to dryness.

      Hair will continue to grow but retention of the length is most important. Trim those ends and deep condition often.
