I can't get the yolk out without the egg breaking apart, I used cold eggs and warm. This just doesn't work!

This is lovely. I just saw this recipe online and search to find it on CZcams. I prefer using mayonnaise also, but the other recipe called for cream cheese (as you also suggested). One other comment; they used a straw at the bottom of the egg, and then inserted the onion. Straw might give a wider insertion point. Oh, edit: They shredded artificial crab which I though sounded yummy. Thank you for posting! 🌹
It was a big hit on Easter. I did have trouble with the top portion of the white tearing when I gently nudged the yolk or when I inserted stuffing, but somewhere I saw you kind of tapped the torn white back into place. No one seemed to care. I told them about you, so I hope you get more hits. Thanks so much for your creative work. 🌹

You are cutting the wrong side. The opening should be on the other end.
I would dye the eggs pastel pink, yellow, green, and blue for Easter.. place a pretty ribbon around stems
