Related a lot to this vid; there’s this weird hive thinking that once you get a career in UX that life is somehow “great and all is figured out” but many don’t understand that isn’t the case.
And I agree with your sentiment about UX. Nobody wants to think about work once your done with work, even if you enjoy what you do. So having a CZcams channel (that should be a creative outlet) also be something that reminds you of your career, and is related to it can also become tiring after some time.
At the end of the day, it’s just another job and life still has its ups and downs as well as the occasional rut despite said job. But again, I think many people, in specific those who have yet to break into the field view it as a dream like goal that once achieved, all is well, but that’s so far from the case.
