It always makes me smile when they (the men and now the women) say, "We are villagers. How would we know about...?" As if they are apologizing for not being worldly.
And I think to myself, oh, you all are so wise, gracious, and kind. The rest of us can learn so much from YOU!
Love and many blessings to the Tribe 💖🤗
It feels less like they're putting themselves down or apologizing and more asserting that as villagers they don't need such fancy things. Kind of like how country people will (often humorously) talk about how "city slickers" might eat something (like oysters, maybe), but it's not something for country folk. When some people say it, it's not them being humble but rather saying their country ways are just fine with them.
The food they eat is undoubtedly healthier than the processed pizza, candy, soda & cakes they get to taste. I hope they stick to their own food, especially since they have much less access to expensive drugs & surgeries.
I LOVE the "Tribal Women Try" videos. They are harder to please than the men and are also better at matching tastes to local tribal food. Please keep them coming!
Exactly! They seem interested in figuring out the relationships between the different "cuisine." They're very enthusiastic too.
Their domain is the kitchen, the men have the great outdoors.
@@r.d.sandman6474 Sadly. Their lives a more narrow and they have less choices.
I love these ladies already. I was so interested in what the women of the village would think. We women and our food... a deep relationship.
That's right sis!👍🏼🤭😊

I would love to see the tribal ladies try a dish and then their western counterparts eat a dish from the tribal village. Like a sort of cultural exchange.
That's not a bad idea.
I'd like to see that, too.
Really appreciate that you show pictures when local foods are mentioned! Very helpful
I love how thoughtful they each were when they took the first bite. They didn't give away their reaction at all, but were immediately thinking of what is was made of and if they could duplicate the taste. I bet these women can take any three ingredients and turn out 30 different meals.
And all of them would taste better than that factory-made apple pie. Apples originated where they live. It says a lot that only one of them even recognized the type of fruit.
These are such beautiful ladies. I really enjoy watching them. Ruquaiya's laughter is contagious and her personality is sweet.
They are right, it's like halva with fruit jam and cream on top. Such delightful smiles and comments from all the ladies, especially Ruqaiya and Rakhi are my favorite. Thank you
I've never thought it like this but yes that's true its like halwa
I'd never have compared it to halva, so I found this a very interesting reaction.
Ruqaiya's merry laugh makes my day. I'm smiling.🥰🤗
My exact sentiments😁
These women are very refreshing, out of their element but feeling comfortable & I love to see them appreciate their food. Great folks all!
I love these beautiful women! I can’t wait to see them in the future videos.
All us westerners watching this want to try Halwa now.
You are so right!
Women are the heart and soul of the food prepared around the world..I am happy you are showcasing the women's point of view❤❤❤
But when men cook...
I think men cook better than women; most of the time. 🙂
I love how Shameem is so smiley and colorful 🥰🥰🥰
Guys don’t ruin this post by arguing about the humble apple pie. Let us support these ladies in their tasting of different foods.
Apples originated in their part of the world. They would instantly recognize a whole apple, but the other strange ingredients were confusing, although one did identify the apples.
Exactly, let’s just enjoy their appreciation, I find them very interesting. Great opinions & like the men very polite.
Are any of these delightful ladies related to the gentlemen we love to watch on Tribal People Try? I know I am going to enjoy this channel just as much..we need a woman's view point !
No they aren't
@@TribalWomenTry thank you!
I was thinking the same thing and trying to match them up with the men 😂 woopsy!!!
They all are related to the admin of channel who serves them the food..some are his friends (men) and some may be the relatives, neighbours or may be the ladies working in the house
"I don't know how to use these. We're villagers." Still uses a fork and knife better than most members of my family.
Glad they like the apple pie. Hope they have a blessed week.
Loving this so far! Ms. Ruqaiya has the best laugh/ smile, it never fails to make me do the same. Go ladies!❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Yes . And i dont know why, watching her is like watching chaudary. Haha
I enjoy her in the videos I have seen. She grins and giggles all the time. I'd say she is a lot of fun and so pleasant to be around.
Here's to another successful channel 🎊
My sentiments exactly.
Ruqaiya seems like such a happy person, it makes me smile seeing her enjoying trying the foods.
It's good to see the women get in on the act aswell
Had no idea about this channel, but I can't wait to see more! The ladies had me smiling.
I love the comparison to Halwa! Is is similar, but I wouldn't have thought of that. Cute how they all eat a couple of bites where the men ate the whole thing. Hugs to the ladies! Love you girls!
I bet they're saving the rest to take home and share. Mothers do that.
As expert cooks, the women are more discriminating. They were more suspicious of strange food ingredients that didn't come from their kitchens, but too polite to point out that theirs tastes much better & is much healthier, although there were a few hints. Most men don't prepare food in their culture, with the exception of a few bakers & chefs for the rich. They're mostly farmers. They grow crops & raise animals, but leave further preparations to their wives, sisters, and Mothers.
@@owlivdejong5086 I'm not so sure they wanted to take the strange food home. One woman even admitted she was afraid of it making her sick.
Wonderful ladies! Thank you so much for trying and sharing your opinions and delightful smiles.
They all have such beautiful smiles very kind and gentle women. Apple pie is awesome my grandma used to make it from scratch from the apples on her farm.
I love love LOVE seeing them trying to deconstruct the recipes and compare them to local dishes. They are better at it than the men. I have seen so many new foods that I want to search for recipes.
Great choice! It was the apple pie episode of the guys that came across my feed one day and got me hooked on these wonderful videos. I'm glad they all enjoyed it. Ms. Ruqaiya and Ms. Rahki seemed to have the most fun. I look forward to the next video. 😊❤ God Bless!
We have a saying in the USA. "As American as Apple Pie." We use it to describe unique American behaviors, products, and attitudes. It is a compliment.
Funny how apple is not even American. So that is why America is melting-pot of different cultures
@@Skege1000 equally funny that my British side continued making apple pies, recipe from England when they landed in Canada.
America does not have exclusive rights to the apple pie lol.....
@@terrylynn9984 okay. But apple is not orginally even found in that continet you're living. It's just came there with immigrants. Maybe with the first white guys.
@@Skege1000 wow, such racist undertones.
@@terrylynn9984 whoever said they did. Why are you so hateful?
So glad to see the ladies interested in the point of view from women.
Can we talk about how beautiful their skin is, every one of them
Such lovely ladies! I would SO like to try some of their sweet dishes they mentioned! I love the way they speak, I could listen to them talk all day, it sounds like a song! Cant wait for more videos from them!😁☮
They are so lovely! Could you please post their names for awhile though so we can get to know them.
It's probably safer they don't post names.
@@owlivdejong5086
They post their names when introducing them. I think the OP meant keep them on the screen longer.
These ladies are so beautiful inside and out. Thank you for sharing them with us oh, I'm excited to get to know them. Please let them know that we love them from America
If it tastes like Halwa than apple pie is a success. 😊👍
That's like saying 'if fish tasted like pork, then it's good fish'. If an apple pie tasted like halwa, then it's a huge manufacturing failure
@@DP-zd8fr The apples were probably old and mealie. I'm not surprised that factory-made apple pie doesn't taste much like apples. Only one lady recognized them, and they are commonplace in that part of the world. Apples originated in Asia.
Can we talk about the fact that these ladies figured out how to use cutlery - almost perfectly - in like two seconds.
I like how these women are strong characters with lots of wit.
😊😊 Those ladies know that apple pie was delicious! 😊😊 The way Rakhi used her fork to eat the pie at the end of the video is EXACTLY the way it's supposed to be eaten. No butter knives required. She reminded me of myself the way she handled the fork and put the pie in her mouth. LOL! If you put vanilla ice cream on top, then you would eat it with a spoon. Keep up the good work. I'm liking these videos so far.
I doubt that old apple pie tasted all that great. A fresh one would have been much better, and at least they could have recognized the apples. The fact that only one lady recognized a fruit that grows wild in her part of the world says a lot.
@@robinlillian9471 AMERICAN APPLE PIE. AMERICAN APPLE PIE. AMERICAN APPLE PIE. AMERICAN APPLE PIE. Bothered yet? Triggered weirdo!
Good job ladies. We look forward to getting to know you better thru the videos. Welcome to u tube. Have a blessed day
Yeahhh MashAllah!!! Salaam my dear sisters..... sending you piar from New York City!!! So happy to see you beautiful ladies !!!
I've literally binged watched like 6 videos already and I just subscribed.
Love the vids!
Wonderful smiles. Can’t wait to see more videos.
Love that you started a channel just for the ladies ♥️
Thanks
Oh I'm sure I'm going to like "Tribal Women Try" I love Ruqaiya's happy laugh and Rakhi`s trying on this little bad girl vibe but she's not fooling me she's a sweetheart. I love 'em all.
So wonderful...I am Indian by birth but grew up Western. Lovely to see how we humans are all same....my one request is you give these ladies better treats like the strawberry cheesecake to the men. These are the real chefs of their village and I would love to see them try and critique more than snacks...
A flower for everyone from Mexico 🇲🇽💐🌹🌷🌻🌼🌸
I loved the video so much. I’m happy they liked apple pie. Their smiles just made my day
Rukhi is so pretty. I can't tell if she is young, maybe in her 20s, or older maybe in her 40s. Her smile is beautiful.
These ladies are too adorable!
THey have me thinking of how a mango chutney pie would taste. Probably pretty darn good.
I would love a recipe like that ( without any meat)
No it's not a pie she's talking about raw green mango chutney (sauce) thick green sauce have sweet and sour taste .
@@myrnabergen5342 it have nothing to do with meat just a side sauce mostly eaten with wheat bread (roti) and curry to enhance the flavour in summers..
My thought was a chunkier version of the mango chutney I've tasted, textured more like a typical fruit pie but with the same flavor as a sweet spicy mango. Possibly a besan and butter crust. Maybe more like a tart. Maybe I'm just hungry. 😄
@@julieneff9408 there are tons of mango pie recipes on the net. any fruit can technically be made into a pie. it is cakes or other diary based dishes that certain unripened fruits can be an issue. This is because a number of fruits that if not ripe the juice will break apart the diary proteins causing the dish to dissolve or not be able to be made.
for my sisters who are unsure of how to handle the cutlery: i grew up with it, and it still baffles me! don't give up! it also doesn't mean much, even where i live in the city!
That's brilliant! The nice person in the blue mentioned pies being something poured in; I don't know if that's where the word came from since I've never thought of that before, but that fits so well.
pie comes from magpie due to the following two reasons: 1. pies were a dish that was a collection of ingredients such as meat, veggies etc all mashed together like the collection of a magpie which known at the time as Pie yes magpies were originally named Pies. pastries at the time tended to have only dominant ingredient so to distinguish the dishes the mixed ingredients ones got the name pies. .
2. game birds were put in dishes that are were only allowed by law to be served to royalty. said dishes were often two sets of dishes since one was the edible part, while the other inedible part contained live birds. When the pie was slashed open to the part with live birds they would fly out to amuse the royals. Then the edible part with the meat from birds and often other things such as vegetables was then served. So pie meant a pastry type dish with birds such as Magpies.
Such lovely ladies! Glad they (mostly) enjoyed one of our quintessential Western desserts.
The look on her face when she tries the whip cream. Like a happy sigh. Many of us all look that way when we eat whipped cream.
Happy that the ladies got a turn at tasting apple with cream on top. They liked it too! Love apple pie with or without cream. Big favorite. Have a feeling that the ladies don't get much opportunity to be in the limelight and they are certainly charming and lovable. Great posting.
Such beautiful smiles on these women when they talk about food. I'm in Michigan in the United States and I would love to have any one of these ladies in my home and make them dinner. My daughter is half Lebanese and Arabic food is the most delicious! Meat pies , kibby. I love this channel!
I like this video! Nice ladies!
I hope they ate good apple pie - let them know that homemade is the best 🥧 Thank you, ladies 🙏🏽
The lady with the tan scarf on wearing the green bracelet has very pretty eyes. Thanks for bringing the ladies on!
Beautiful ladies! They deserve all good things. God Bless
Now, do it again with home made apple pie with a proper flakey crust ...... a totally different creation from a commercially prepared pie. A would love to see their faces when they see what my grandma would call a "mile high apple pie" ...... a pie filled with apples piled so high the pie is 5 to 6 inches tall in the center. Properly prepared so that you don't end up with an "air hanger" inside the crust when you cut it. Yum!
I could easily go live with these women even if I do not understand the language, they are wonderful!
Such wonderful ladies!! Love your channel and blessings to you and your family!
Simplest apple pie.One pastry crust(flour, salt, grease, water)thin sliced apples, sugar, ground cinnamon, butter.Make the crust, put in a baking dish, put in the apples in a pattern like a rose(round side out)sprinkle with sugar and a little cinnamon ,add small pieces of butter dotted across top and bake.
They're all so shy, it's kind of adorable 😍
Even though I hope they warm up eventually.
I'm a fan of Ruqaiya already. She has such an innocent smile. I just love her too much. 🤗🤭👍🏼
I'm so happy to see a Women Try video. I've been thinking for a while that women should be included. It's nice to hear their opinions, especially as many of these women are probably the cooks in their families.
I love the woman who ate the pie with her hand! 😍❤️ A new style!
How I love these ladies. They are a joy. Their comments are insightful and delightful!! I want to have tea and cakes with them. May God protect them, always. 💞
( I a appreciate the photo inserts. God keep you, as well. 💖 )
The ladies have great personality. I love them🤩💕🌷
a great idea to set up a channel with women. they see many things differently from men. 👍🏻
I would really love if we could get a tour of the villages where they live and also maybe they could make their fav dish. so we can see what they like to eat. I would love to know what chutni is or halwa is. I also am really impressed that it seems that be4 they eat they always thx their god (at least 1 or 2 of them does at least). they seem like really good and kind women. :) so thxs for posting these videos.
They all handled the utensils as if they’ve done it a thousand times before.
And it was only their very first time, too.
They took to it like a duck to water.
I’d love to see the ladies reviewing bridal dresses from other countries! Pretty please
For me Zubaida G is the star for remebering the basmala despite all tamasha and apple bie
lol 'apple bhai'
They see apple pie for the first time and I always see those dollar apple pies piled on top of each other. Different worlds we live in. Great video.
All of these women radiate such beauty.
What charming ladies!
All these women have very beautiful and healthy teeth. Maybe because they do not eat too much sugar.
The lovely lady in tan is officially a westerner with her passive aggression 😂
Ruqaiya is so adorable 💜 her accent is just so cute💜✨ i love the way he said apple bai 🤣💜✨
I enjoyed this more than eating it myself. I'd love to taste their versions made with halva! Many thanks to these lovely ladies for letting me taste an old favorite of mine in a new way through their first experiences with it.
I truly too enjoy young ladies! We are alike in different ways. God makes all us unique in his precious ways❤️❤️😊😊 may god bless you
One of the best treats for any occasion!
Cold o Warm.
Whipped Cream and Ice Cream too!

Theme music is very pleasant. Like it’s from the American southern states.
I like Apple pie with ice-cream
I wish I also could try some of these ladies foods they prepare from there homeland 🥰💐 I love the the ladies 🥰🥰
The men got ice cream with their pie! No fair!
Apple pie mazy ki cheez lag rahi ha
They are the sweetest🥰 love their smiles, and willingness to try something new. So enjoy your videos. Keep them coming. Much love to them all🥰
Rahki has very pretty, expressive eyes! I love how she said "Ok then why don't serve it?" (like stop talking) LOL
I love how food from other parts of the world can taste just like others local foods without even knowing it. Small world!
All the women are very funny and sweet
Apple pie is one of my favorite foods. We serve it to guests too, just like you said. For hospitality or desert. I love these videos and wish I could talk to you all while you try things.
Wish they could try fresh baked ,home made apple pie!
Westerners like your food too. I love rice kheer and have not no idea how to make it. ❤️
So beautiful and graceful...bless you ladies
Ok, I want to see their reaction to cooking in a microwave oven.
Thank you, Ladies. You're wonderful!
Finger eating! Love it💖
