$2 bills are not rare at all. For my daughters 22 birthday I went to the bank and ordered $2222 in $2 bill and I received them within two business days. I also order rolls of uncut real $2 bills once a year. What you should really hold on to are your pennies.

It's the older 2$ bills that are rare and worth more.

I have a bunch....they are worth $2.
Unless you find someone who is willing to pay you more. Red seal (pre 1965) $2 have a little more value....but again, if you find someone who wants it.
1976 $2 bills, even mint condition and sequential.....still worth $2

I have one w/a red seal 1953 going to ✔️ it out! It's in mint condition, my father had a bunch of them in a safe he had some of the things weren't worth a damn thing. Then, I looked up the $2.00 w/red seal ! I hope I have the right One!

How to get $2 bills easy: Go to a bank and request them. If they have them, they will have no problem giving them to you. In some banks, you can order $2 bills. I always ask for $2 bills and I have no problem getting them.
